Those who have ascended

have different attributes

from those who are still on earth,

yet there is no real separation.

I don't know whether this is gimmicky or brilliant, and I suppose the only way to find out is to ride one. One has to admit, it does look incredible though, and a frame weight of only 1.8lbs. for a 56cm frame is insanely light!

From Ascend Sports: "New for 2009 Delta 7 Sports has released their Ascend, an extremely stiff and light road frame. Recently featured in Men's Journal under "Perfect Things", the Ascend is built with IsoTruss Technology which is considered the ultimate composite structure."

The North Cascade Range offers a decent amount of solitude and certainly isn't short of beautiful areas. Wing Lake is a great destination here for those who aspire to ascend Black Peak (seen here in the background) as well as those who simply enjoy spending time along the lakeside among the yellowing larch trees in October.

This is crown land leased out to ranchers, which explains the fenceline beside us.

Punching through the cloud forest.

Despite of my left heel's blister and the sore hips, the ascending on the first part of

the second stage was a pure pleasure and I enjoyed the good vibes of this two hours extremely.

Aries Ascending, wanderer of embered skies, a gypsy soul with wildfire in his stride. He carries The Flame 🔥where shadow dies—a spark-tongued spirit the night can’t hide.

Through caravan winds his footsteps sing,

bright as dawn on a rust-red string. Where he travels, the world feels warm: a blaze in a man-shaped, wandering form. 🔥✨

in addition to being able to see through the steps they also flex as you step. Ever so slight, but just enough to cause terror

Up till this point we've been following the watercourse down the hill. Now we make a turn and begin to climb slowly uphill. At this point the garden takes on the character of a shade forest, with the smaller trees (mostly vine maples, some Japanese maples) open to receive light that filters through the taller ones.

Boh was struck by the way the limbs and trunks looked almost black in the brilliant green light from the leaves.

At the bottom left of the image is a bamboo and stone fountain, which Charlie photographed; if you're looking at this in the set, it's next.
