It was a very rainy day when I ascended the tower of the delightful Hereford Cathedral @ Easter 2003 with my sons and their father. The youngsters enjoyed the challenge and our guide, a student who was local, kept us informed and entertained along the way.
Taken with my very first little digital camera, which took some pretty good pics - the Fuji FinePix 2600 Zoom.
N.B. This and other shots had been cleaned up with 'Picture It' software at the time, and also some with PS Elements Auto Contrast.

The Duomo di Siena offers a "Gate of Heaven" tour which allows you to ascend to the attic and roof space of the cathedral and walk a circuit above the nave. Here, we look towards the front of the cathedral from the cupola. Siena, Tuscany, Italy.

Tanja and her parents (Willem & Helene) ascend a huge dune in the Woody Cape Dune Field. In the distance behind the the coastline stretches out towards Canon Rocks, Boknes and Boesmansriviermond (Bushmans River Mouth).
