How do you feel about it? As you may noticed I really enjoy Fridays :) After capturing an amazing sunset few nights ago, the one I posted recently, I took a longer lens and started picking out some detail from the same scene. Soft light and some color were still lingering in the distance. What do you think?
Sares Head is huge rocky prominence in Sharpe Park. If it weren't for the distant boats one would think one was on a deserted isle as we saw no one. The land for the park was deeded to Skagit County in 1977 in honor of family members who were settlers here. What a wonderful tribute!
Two days each month Muir Woods is open after hours for a ranger led tour along Redwood Creek, complete with tall tales to complement the tall trees. It's a real treat to be in the park after most of the visitors leave and to experience twilight in a redwood forest. I liked the early evening light on the stairs to the Canopy View Trail.

During the ascend to Zugspitze, Germans highest mountain, through the "Höllental" (Valley of hell). Very nice scenery, and very recommended ascend. 2200 meters of difference in altitude have to be mastered and light climbing, 7 1/2 hours.
Quite worm the sun today ;-).

The sun comes up later in the morning now, which means it's dark when I get to work and I get a chance to watch the sunrise as I walk between buildings; today I decided to stop and take a moment to try and get an interesting shot.
I was hoping someone would walk the stairs while I stood watching, but I didn't luck out there.
Still, I think this is an interesting sight; a stair case going up into the sky.
