Kings Yard Energy Centre, a combined heat and power generation station in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, London
Two days each month Muir Woods is open after hours for a ranger led tour along Redwood Creek, complete with tall tales to complement the tall trees. It's a real treat to be in the park after most of the visitors leave and to experience twilight in a redwood forest. I liked the early evening light on the stairs to the Canopy View Trail.

During the ascend to Zugspitze, Germans highest mountain, through the "Höllental" (Valley of hell). Very nice scenery, and very recommended ascend. 2200 meters of difference in altitude have to be mastered and light climbing, 7 1/2 hours.
Quite worm the sun today ;-).

The sun comes up later in the morning now, which means it's dark when I get to work and I get a chance to watch the sunrise as I walk between buildings; today I decided to stop and take a moment to try and get an interesting shot.
I was hoping someone would walk the stairs while I stood watching, but I didn't luck out there.
Still, I think this is an interesting sight; a stair case going up into the sky.

Amtrak's Southwest Chief # 3 is seen passing the 649 automatic just west of Gallinas, CO as they climb the 3.69% grade towards the summit of Raton Pass.
The spiral staircase inside the tower on St Michael’s Hill, Montacute. The stairs are constructed from Hamstone, quarried on the nearby Ham Hill.

We just reached the mountain hut below the summit. on the right there's the small church of sv. Miklavž (St. Nicholas).
We've completed the steep climb and now we just need to ascend the rounded mountaintop to reach our second and final summit of Driesh. From here we get a fine view out looking south from the mountain, with the waters of Blackwater Reservoir glistening among the rain showers in the distance.
After a trip back up to Aberdeen for meetings at the office, I stayed a little longer to climb Mayar and Driesh. Mayar stands at 928 meters (3044 feet) and is my 29th Munro, and gives me the 10% of Munro's bagged I have always wanted. Driesh, at 947 meters (3106 feet), is my 30th Munro and the 2nd of the two I climbed this day.
