I just love to snap away into the sky with the tall and mighty budding into what will someday be leaves again.Right now things have only just begun and with some nice weather am hoping to stretch my legs and breath in all that forest fresh air.
Pushing on that trigger is like pulling magic into my very soul...Darrell.
Have a safe and delightful day dear Flickr friends !

Always Ascending
Song by Franz Ferdinand
Put your ladder down
Put your ladder down
Put your ladder down
Don't be concerned
It's just the way that gravity works 'round here
All slowly rising, falling patiently
Feel no, feel no fear
Cirrus caress you
Cumulus kiss you
Raindrops of crystal
Whisper "We'll miss you"
But go
Let go
Always and always and always ascending
Opening line leaves an uncertain ending
Always and always and always ascending
The chords seem to pause
But ah never gonna resolve (never going to resolve)
Never going to resolve (never going to resolve)
Never going to resolve (never going to resolve)
Never going to resolve (never going to resolve)
Ah talk to me
Talk to me
C'mon talk to me
Talk to me
Yeah talk to me
Talk to me
Ah
And wake me up
C'mon wake me up
Waking up dry
Waking up dusty
Feeling remorse
Feeling thirsty
Bring me a cup
Bring me water
We can ascend
From this arrangement
We can see fate
As entertainment
Bring me a cup
But bring me water
Yeah, bring me water
Always and always and always ascending
The Shepard misleads so you think you're transcending
Always and always and always ascending
Pause the progression
But ah never gonna resolve (never going to resolve)
Never going to resolve (never going to resolve)
Never going to resolve (never going to resolve)
Never going to resolve (never going to resolve)
Ah talk to me
Talk to me
C'mon talk to me
Talk to me
Now talk to me
Talk to me
Ah, oh
Then wake me up
C'mon wake me up
Waking up dry
Waking up dusty
Feeling remorse
Feeling thirsty
Bring me a cup
And bring me water
Yeah, bring me water
Yeah, bring me water
Bring me water
Bring me water, yeah
Put your ladder down
Put your ladder down
Put your ladder down
Put your ladder down
Put your ladder down
Put your ladder down
Cirrus caress you
Cumulus kiss you
Raindrops of crystal
Whisper "we'll miss you"
But go
Let go
The second post in the "Wave" series
Slowing the movement of the water seems to create a dreamy feel, with some interesting shapes, a more arty feel
Taken at sunrise with a bank of cloud along the horizon
Stepping out from Ratusz Arsenał Metro station, the bright sun had started to melt the snow on the stairs ...
reposting a lucky shot from Warsaw.
A lone pedestrian climbs to the top of a staircase, water bottle in hand. Did she just come from a work out? Is she going to Nando's? We'll never know.

Image from an accidental archive. I don't go out of my way to save original scans or raw files -- or negatives, for that matter, though they tend to linger. I found this on an old PC's drive while prepping recycling. I remember shooting the Hasselblad 500CM this day, with either Portra or Ektar. Jessie might have this negative saved in a book somewhere.
Anyway, wishing all a fine butt-end of the week.
A Canadian trio (U, W, U) lifts their fresh U-Tac loads up the Hill into Culver as Fall is definitely falling upon the Northland. Went out for a tiny while as the sun was out and a big drive back to Wisco was in order later, and managed at least one decent frame as 6021 takes center stage.

As we drove further up the volcano, a dense mist descended. The remains of these petrified trees piercing through the mist gave a wonderfully eerie feeling. In the end the visibility was so bad we had to turn back.
