This photo was one of many shots I took in the context of the wonderful workshop with Reinhard Wagner. Thank you Reinhard for these terrific experiences!
The most important thing about this photo are the two beautiful people...
Thank you Catharina and thank you Florian for being our models this weekend.
Despite my writing in english, we are all from germany. So if you need two beautiful people for your own photoshoot. Feel free to contact them:

Affection is responsible for nine-tenths of whatever solid and durable happiness there is in our lives.

Last spring's fawn affectionately nuzzles its momma. It will remain with her until her next fawn is born in the spring. Our beautiful world, pass it on.
A bit of badly received affection from the smaller of the cubs.
Silent shutter meant I could capture an interaction that would have never taken place had I used my DSLR with it's clunky mirror slap.
Deer couple ( or mother and her son?) on top of Mt Wakakusa in Nara park.
I was quite touched by the deep affection shown by the pair.

The other day, I watched the old Eddie Murphy video, you know, Buckwheat Sings. Anyhow, I had "Wookin' Pa Nub" stuck in my head and decided to try and find shots that represented love. I walked through Waikiki for an hour and only found a few. This is my favorite.
Explored!
A fawn shows some affection for its mother as she sits down and takes a break in my neighbor's yard.
Two of my cockatiels, Punky on the left & Albin on the right hand side, photographed together in natural light & no flash on black background limbo. No cropping at all nor heavy post-processure.
They are mates and have almost the same age, Albin is just one week younger. She's a Lutin (Eno) while Punky is a brilliant pearlized.
They are good friends, Albin is more noisy, Punky is quieter & very affectioned. Now they are 2 months old & just begun to eat on their own! Buon Appetito!

"Sometimes we talk all night long, we don't shut up
And when it's late we'll say we're still wide awake so...
We love to talk about how you'll come up to visit me
And we'll rent a car and we'll drive upstate
It's affection, always
You're gonna see it someday
My attention's on you
Even if it's not what you need
I think of you, I want you too
I'd fall for you"
