Stealing photos has began for me :(

Sorry, no more "large on black".

"Sometimes we talk all night long, we don't shut up

And when it's late we'll say we're still wide awake so...

We love to talk about how you'll come up to visit me

And we'll rent a car and we'll drive upstate

It's affection, always

You're gonna see it someday

My attention's on you

Even if it's not what you need

I think of you, I want you too

I'd fall for you"

A broken computer left me with some down time to reconnect with the world without a lens in the middle. With parts and software back in order, out comes the camera and a photo of my husband and Charlie. I hope you enjoy.

Youth fades; love droops; the leaves of friendship fall; a mother’s secret hope outlives them all.

When you enjoy your time so much that your mind gets blurry

Sorry, but I had to upload this one, photo-technically it may not be the best one, but the bond between daughter and mother can not be expressed a lot better... ;)))

I am reposting this photo in remembrance of my dear girl friend Biba.

Tomorrow will be two years that she left us.

We always remember you ... and we always love you.

Forever.

~moment of tenderness between my daughter Dora and our dog Biba... they love each other so very much...

and Biba is so gentle and full of love and confidence... and yet so big and strong and mighty!~

It's easy to anthropomorphise the natural world and even get downright sentimental however there's obviously a feeling of contentment and connection between this female guillemot and her chick. A fundamental part of what keeps it all going.

It's also a fairly decent shot of a bridled guillemot - which I've been after for some time.

Storm light is so amazing to shoot under. This is an amazing location and to be here with amazing storm light makes capturing landscape images so easy. This places was so amazing that I came away with 3 amazing images from this sunrise location.

This is probably my last upload from my Canon EOS system as I've been shooting landscapes with the Sony a7R ii.

I was awestruck by the way the elder one was holding, what must have been, his younger sibling while the mother was busy grooming! Pretty soon the one in the middle was into his antics..tight rope walking.. doing it perfectly! The prankster then sat on the thin rope and was showing off to a few audiences as well.. may be expecting some applauding!

Dhamrai has so many monkeys wandering around and its really fun to watch them. The more you watch them the more you question yourself.. did I really come from them?!!? LOL

PS: Sorry friends.. I haven't been on Flickr much lately being physically indisposed (fever, cough and cold) and I know I have some catching up to do! But do please bear with me.. Thanks

Black-tailed prairie dogs are very social animals. These two were clearly showing affection for one another, with something akin to kisses and grooming one another. Taken in the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge. It was the nation's first bison refuge. Our beautiful world being passed on.
