The S train for LPC is stopped and the conductor is in the process of tying some handbrakes before they pickup the closest cut of cars. All the while, TCW's St. Paul Turn works its way up the hill and towards CP's yard.

..gosh I hope not! There was a definite chill in the air today and the blustering wind played havoc with my hair. Autumn is practically upon us and I for one am not ready to say bye to the summer sun!

Still, I am looking forward to all the changes that come with the start of a new academic year. Will be interesting to see how this little project of mine goes :)

Hope you've all had a good week!

Thought is was about time to post this shot up. This was the very first photo I took of this pelican, and no HDR on this for a change :)

“Each second we live is a new and unique moment of the universe, a moment that will never be again.

...And what do we teach our children? We teach them that two and two make four, and that Paris is the capital of France.

When will we also teach them what they are?

We should say to each of them: Do you know what you are? You are a marvel. You are unique. In all the years that have passed, there has never been another child like you. Your legs, your arms, your clever fingers, the way you move.

You may become a Shakespeare, a Michelangelo, a Beethoven. You have the capacity for anything. Yes, you are a marvel. And when you grow up, can you then harm another who is, like you, a marvel?

You must work, we must all work, to make the world worthy of its children.”

Book/Poem Excerpt i could do a 365 on this topic alone

I know that this is not a photo made with a camera, but I feel the utter urge to express my anger!!!

I just saw this article among Yahoo! news:

news.yahoo.com/blogs/technology-blog/does-one-day-worth-f...

I THINK THIS IS UTTERLY OUTRAGEOUS!!! IN ALL THE YEARS I'VE HAD MY FLICKR I'VE TRUSTED IT, BUT NOW THIS TRUST IS SOMEWHAT BROKEN... FLICKR HAS ALWAYS ENFORCED STRICT RULES ABOUT COPYRIGHTS, BUT I BELIEVE THAT BY THIS GUY PRINTING OUT ONE MILLION FLICKR PHOTOS THESE RULES HAVE BEEN VIOLATED. FOR ALL I KNOW THERE COULD BE ONE OF MY PHOTOS IN THERE... OR PERHAPS EVEN MORE THAN ONE?!!! I'VE NEVER GIVEN PERMISSION TO ANYONE FOR USING MY PHOTOS. AND NOW HERE COMES SOME DUDE, WHO THINKS THAT HE'S SOME KIND OF AN ARTISTIC GENIUS AND SIMPLY PRINTS OUT STUFF AND USES IT FOR HIS OWN PURPOSES!!! WHO LET THIS HAPPEN?!?!

AND WHAT MAKES IT EVEN WORSE, HE THROWS THE PHOTOS AROUND!!! I VALUE MY WORK AND IF SOMEONE JUST THROWS MY PHOTOS AROUND I FEEL OFFENDED AND ANGRY!

I DON'T KNOW ABOUT THE REST OF YOU FLICKERERS, BUT I AM TOTALLY OUTRAGED, HURT AND I FEEL LIKE I'VE BEEN FLICKR-RAPED!!!

I would like to thank the author of the article, Katherine Gray, for disclosing this violent misuse of our Flickr work.

Keep the comments clean! No banners, awards or invitations, please!

Absolutely everywhere today at the Tring reservoirs along with swift, house and sand martins. Brilliant to have them all buzzing around me just CMs away at times. Shame the light was terrible, and it was freezing.

Absolutely miserable night, heavy rain pouring all day and night, local Asian grocery adding a much needed burst of colour and light to a dark, wet night. Handheld shot using the phone's low-light setting.

Dasha™ as Anika Luxottica

IFDC 2016 Exclusive Convention Dressed Doll

Limited Edition Size: 500 Dolls Worldwide

Suggested Retail Price: $175.00

I think it's time for me to write a few words about this fabulous girl that I just got yesterday as my souvenir doll at 2016 IFDC.

First of all I want to say thank you to IT team for bringing us this fabulous trio and especially Dasha as Anika Luxottica. I was shockingly surprised after seeing her and I'm extremely happy that we finally got something unusual, I think it was a bit risky move for IT but I'm pretty sure we will see more of these dolls in the future.

It was an easy choice for me if I want to keep her - I love everything futuristic, so she is my number #1 favorite out of 3 dolls. She got an androgyny look and she constantly gives me a

Kristen McMenamy vibe.

She is totally robotic, cold and fierce. She is that kind of a doll that you want to look closer and probably will have mixed feelings at first - because this tiny piece of plastic pushes you to think "outside of the box" and if you loved freckles and cozy sweaters - you better forget about them at least for awhile.

The other huge plus - she comes with an absolutely fantastic outfit and accessories plus an additional cyborg pair of arms and legs - how cool is that?! Her jewelry set is similar to a J'Adore Elyse set but made in silver with moonstone look like accents. I have to mention her shoes - trust me you will love her shoes, these are ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC and extremely well made shoes. Also her dress has a fun "3D shimmery" effect and extremely well constructed with the silver studs on the front (you will also got a tiny bag with extra studs just in case if you'll need to repair lost ones in the future.)

Absolutely Stunning paint!
