Marketplace Mall opened in Wilmington, NC in 1986 as an outlet style mall anchored by Brendle's. I'm not sure if the mall was ever really healthy but I do know that Brendle's closing in 1996 likely hurt. By the time I moved to Wilmington in 1999 the mall was pretty empty but I do recall the Brendle's sign still being up on the property and a few businesses inside, like a gym and local stores. New Hanover County bought the property with plans to convert it in to county offices in the early 2000's. It appears as if the transition of the interior of the mall to county offices is complete, as a result the former mall is only open 8-5 Mon-Fri, but what I could see looking through the doors it looks like it has been kept remarkably intact.
Marketplace Mall opened in 1975. Its current anchors are Macy's, Bergners, JCPenney, and Dick's Sporting Goods/ Field and Stream. Sears closed its Marketplace location in 2014.

Bayside Marketplace is a two-story open-air shopping center located in downtown Miami, Florida. The banks of Biscayne Bay wrap around the property with the City of Miami marina at its side. It is recognized by the Greater Miami Convention & Visitor's Bureau as the number one most visited attraction in Miami. MAGESTY WEDDING CAKE
For your wedding day, you can only think of the best of the best! For that reason you should choose the most beautiful and delicious wedding cake.
This cake is made with the finest Chantilly cream, decorated with Fondant Roses, cherries and strawberries, harvested in the freshest and leafy our master confectioners have commissioned for processing fine forest. It is covered with a delicate white chocolate exquisite quality and with this delicate addition of strawberries and cherries cream.
It has three different types of filling. One of them, "the Rainbow", which is a multi multicolored and flavored cake.
The second one is made with Chantilly cream, strawberries and raspberries.
The cake was made up of three sections namely:
On the ToP:
The Bride and Groom crowning the cake.
They are step in a center of a circle made by strawberries
Center Level:
A second Cake all decorated with lovely Fondant Roses in different shades of pink, and lilac.
The level below:
In this part of the cake, we find heart-shaped pouch, completely created in Fondant with two wedding rings, which can be clearly read the inscription. "I Love You"
Around the cake lit flares rise, giving a graceful pastel lighting at the bottom.
This portion of the cake is decorated with fondant 47 roses in different shades of pink and lilac, accompanied by green leaves, which give a vivid and natural touch.
Whole cake is also decorated with caramel frosting, vanilla and chocolate at different levels. In total it has 90 points frosting glaze, 74 Fondant roses, 8 strawberries, several rings frosting,6 sparklers, 5 columns, drapes.... etc, etc, etc... this would raise the number of prims a lot, but the whole cake has only 72 prims in its natural size reaches two meter.

Construction, Week 74 (Demolition Video Screenshots)
(cont.) …but I’m choosing to instead end my photoset today with this overview of the new store, which I thought was pretty cool. In fact, I think this entire video was cool – I loved seeing the overviews of everything, from the elevation differences to the crazy parking layouts to the millennium décor remaining in the old store and the red block border atop its perimeter walls, seen bottom right above. I’ve added a photo note to this pic for one last extraneous thing I wanted to say, but otherwise, this does it for my 2016 weekly Kroger updates! :)
More to come from here in the new year, as the project finally wraps up (hopefully sooner rather than later!)… and until then, stay tuned for Week 53 (extra week due to Leap Year – unsure how one extra day results in a whole extra week number, but I’m going with it) of my regularly-scheduled weekend photosets this Friday!

Thailand is known for its many markets in every corner of the city. This is a morning market where people not only buy groceries to stock up their kitchens but also a place to socialise with neighbours. Walking across this market, people are very friendly and will talk to you like you have known them since the kindergarten.
