This photo and title and the emotions it stirs (in me, at least) are not necessarily relative to my life right now. Really, I wanted to do my week 9, but was (and still am) very tired and lazy, and motion blur selfies are always fun and interesting. I also wanted to do a blurry, abstract shot for one of the Our Daily Challenge topics, which is "deliberate blur abstract."
I'm not restless at all. In fact, I wish I had time to sit around and do nothing. I would very much like to go on vacation right now. I can't wait until April, when my boyfriend and I are going to Boston for a weekend for a Death Cab For Cutie concert (he got me/us tickets for V-Day!) and a mini vacation.

I am proud to know one of these Heroes who has been a firefighter in NYC for Years. God bless him and all the other Heroes. Terrorists will never come out on top. Wegens werkzaamheden in dit weekeinde aan het baanvak Boxtel-Eindhoven werden alle goederentrein, in de relatie Rotterdam/Venlo, omgeleid via de zogenaamde Maaslijn. Zo ook de goederentrein op deze foto.
Due to engineringsworks during this weekend between Boxtel and Eindhoven all the freight traffic, between Rotterdam and Venlo, was diverted via the so called Maaslijn.
I had a completely different idea for today's photo, but somehow ended up here. Not something that I usually do, but I'm pretty happy with the result, just a shame about the guy on the right :)

En 1813, el 22 de mayo, ayudó en la defensa de la ciudad de Alcalá de Henares y en el puente de Zulema, sobre el río Henares venció a un grupo de franceses que le doblaban en número. Más tarde, Fernando VII daría su consentimiento para que la ciudad de Alcalá levantara una pirámide conmemorativa de esta victoria. Pero en 1823, este mismo rey ordenó su destrucción por ser símbolo de un «liberal»; aunque en 1879 los alcalaínos volvieron a levantar otro monumento al Empecinado, al que percibían como su liberador. Dicho monumento ha llegado a nuestros días.
Taken on the roof of the Elks Lodge in San Francisco. It started to rain in the middle of our attempt to take pictures. The day started too warm for the long-sleeved shirt, and then turned into this. Oh, San Francisco summer! You can see how windy it was by the flag over my right shoulder!

This is apparently one of the rarest post boxes in the world. There are only 2 in Bath (or the world, i can't remember). I took this picture from the top of a speeding double decker so i had to use a fast shutter speed.
Because of the speed of the bus I didn't have enough time to compose the shot.
