So the "Cornhusker" #7 has arrived from Chicago on its way to Omaha, for which it can depart behind me going in the same direction. Not so for Rock Island's southbound "Plainsman" #17 from Minneapolis to Kansas City. The Twin Cities-KC mainline crosses the Chicago-Omaha mainline at Short Line Tower, east of the Des Moines depot, so it must either head in and back out or it must back in and head out. Evidently it's the first choice in effect here as it arrives at the station behind an FA1, E8 (133….) to pick up passengers, including my mom and I and anyone who wants to connect off of #7. The FA1 is rebuilt with an EMD engine and rides on EMD trucks, still showing some silver in what is my favorite of MANY Rock paint schemes. It's also not normal passenger power, being without a steam generator. Maybe the E-unit lost power and the FA1 was taken from a passing freight while the steam generator from the E-unit kept passengers warm. Hopefully, both units are working because, once we backed out to Short Line Junction and headed south...

My secret no.7 is "I love to show my perspective and also the perspectives of my city"
The word "perspective" has 2 meanings. My photography mostly based on those 2 meanings of "perspective". It become very personal thought and just my point of view of seeing things. I also love to photograph the pespective of my city. It make things seem to be smaller and smaller and all disappeared into the same point. Like the things seem to come from nowhere and go to nowhere.
