I took off the afternoon for a few reasons. My range pass expires until I take the RSO course so this was one of the last days I could go and not expect a lot of people there, as well as it is my birthday. So I'm going bowling tonight, doing something out of the ordinary that I haven't done for a birthday in Mt. Airy since I was a kid and doing some D&B action tomorrow to celebrate with my buddy Clint.
The range was completely empty, no one had been in a couple days, it was quite peaceful. I laid fresh tracks. Froze my ass off, and nailed some nice groupings.

I met Tatsuru while roaming Sasebo just prior to our ship's departure. It was during this time that I really noticed how charming Sasebo could be. In the week leading up to DENVER's final farewell the weather was gorgeous and everyone seemed happy. The spirit of summer had taken its hold.
And along comes Tatsuru. This kid is talented. He was playing a game of HORSE with a buddy...on his skateboard. I asked if I could get a few actions shots and he said it was fine. I might've made him nervous. His next heelflip put him on the ground. :-P
No Skateboard. No Life.

I started crocheting this scarf for my Mom during finals week while she was in the hospital. While it's not a picture of my mom, it represents the appreciation I have that she's a part of my life.
I'm so glad that she had this life-changing surgery and that she can participate in our lives again. It was so hard seeing her go through what she did. The blood transfusions, the missed trips, and the fatigue. I'm so glad that it's all over for her now and she's finally getting better.
It's like I have a whole new Mom who gets to enjoy things again.
This makes 1 of 52 blessings and 4 of Project 365.

This build used some new techniques for me, Texture, Landscape, SNOT (ish) and more. Credit to JP for reminding me how epic green is and how it is my favourite colour. Exept purple, It's cool Yo.
One of my favourite doors in Lancaster, the rainbow has deteriorated yet further.
Forgot to change the iso again down from inside 800 setting and left the lens selection on manual it was the 28mm Asph Summicron V1 , this why the Sony and Fuji menus kill me I have enough trouble with the reduced number of Leica settings. That's why it is 1/4000th and I had to pull recovery in post as well, goodness knows how it slipped to f2 as well, not my day. Amazing I could still get an image that was reasonable.
I don't post this stuff often, but I hit 4 million views today, so I just wanted to say "Thank you!" to everyone for their interest in my photography.
This Flickr experience has changed me in so many ways, and I have learned much from a good many of you. I am thankful for the inspiration, and for all the friendships I have made.

During this confinement period, I finally took the time to take out the products that I had in a box for more than two years to develop the few exposed black and white films that I had in the fridge with the rest of the color films that are still waiting to be processed. It was actually the first time I used this chemistry to develop a film at home myself. I will thus have developed my first 120 film and two rolls of 35mm film. Still more to learn but always a unique and particularly rewarding experience. #april2020

The only one I used was the Fostex 160 3 3/4 ips double speed & Dolby C
When I moved from 'two tape deck bouncing' to a new 4-tracker, it felt good only for a short time, the sound quality was not that great once you ping ponged, even with double speed, top chrome tapes & dolby c, dbx.
God the street user has it sooo good today with the likes of garageband! Hurray!
this motel is used as a film set and has been featured in several tv shows like The OC, NCIS, Buffy the Vampire Slayer. It was also the motel used in the movie Identity with john cusack. and most recently was the diner featured in lady gaga's "telephone" music video featuring beyonce.
