No.345 was one of only three Leyland PD3/4 -East Lancs from 1967 to be operated by the Corporation. These were among the last traditional types to be built. They had the distinction of being hired by London Country for 9 months in 1976, but were withdrawn in 1981. No. 345 is sen here passing the Kursaal on 12/4/71.

Here's a Helios 44M-4, sitting on top of a Helios 44M, by a Helios 44-2.

 

After I purchased the Helios 44-2, and its such fun to use, I started to look for other versions. These are the other two I have.

Taken with a Spiratone MacroBel bellows attachment, hand held. Lens was Yashica 50mm Auto Yashinon DX f/1.4 (screw mount) with Nikon adapter, on Olympus E-PM2.

 

Talk about a mish-mash of equipment!

 

The subject was a very small crystal top to a crystal perfume bottle.

Csx stencils ST70AH on the cab sides of these ST70AH-T4's. EMD/Progress Rail, owned by Caterpillar, who built them calls them SD70ACe-T4's. A few specs from their website: 4400HP EMD 12 cylinder 1010 engine, tractive effort 200,000 lbs., maximum speed 75mph, fuel 4,800 gallons, length 76ft 8 inches, height 15ft 11 inches. These specs may not necessarily apply to CSX #8900 rolling south through Newburgh NY with Q433, a daily manifest freight between Selkirk NY and Oak Island, Newark NJ. Mid train helper CM44AC #7012 was rebuilt from a AC44CW that was previously #7 and #9106. Howard Kent Jr. 01-26-2022. Thanks to Tim Houck and Anthony Carpentieri for the timely heads up.
