Week 4

Theme: music

The snowy ground this week stopped my first idea, so instead we have a backdrop of vinyl! A much warmer option, at least :]

=Somewhere Over the Atlantic Ocean=

Flannegan reaches into his pocket, offering Drury a paper bag of medication. "For the come down," he explains. Drury shakes his head in silence, and Flannegan empties the packet into his mouth.

"Shame. I liked her."

"You barely knew her..." Drury sighed.

"Know what I said..." Flannegan shrugs. "We need to get our story straight. Spontaneous combustion. That ought to do it."

Drury looks back in disgust, and returns to his phone.

"I'm not happy about it either! That limey, two-toned liver monkey escaped while I was mopping up people pieces. Your fault, by the way."

"Tell me something I don't know!" Drury yells.

...

"Your pal Chuck's at Ace Chemicals," Flannegan shrugs before going back to sleep and leaving Drury frustrated and very confused.

= ACE Chemicals=

It was all true. The bodies, the disappearances, it all led back here- ACE Chemicals. Of course it was ACE Chemicals... Always would be.

Smoke billowed from the enormous chimneys. Lights flickered on and off. He should have had it shut down years ago, he thought to himself.

The first sign came two weeks ago, a bird washed up on the coast, it's feathers bleached green, it's beak contorted into a sinister smile, and burnt.

We didn't connect it to the murders at first. I mean, we all thought it was *him,* it had all his signature flair... But deep down, I knew better... If Joker was up to something, he'd have announced it weeks ago on the evening news. No, this was different. All we needed to do was run a DNA test, identify it's species, and then that's when it all clicked into place. It was a crow...

He looks at the bodies on the ground- they're hard to miss. Strange, those are Crane's men...

"Don't worry about *them*... Wastes of time, the lot of them. Couldn't teach them anything, and their grades were atrocious," a voice whispers.

"Crane! I'm here!"

A yellow eye gleamed below him. Injured though he was, there was no mistaking Scarecrow's emotionless glare

Crane- Hello Batman. You know, I was rather hoping you'd show.

"Oh, you know Bats... shine a spotlight, and he'll glide right down," a raspy voice added.

Stepping out from the shadows, Crane stumbled into the light, smiling a toothy grin. The second voice spoke again, his red suit shining in the moonlight.

"Isn't that right, Bruce?"

Batman- Harvey... Where's Brown?

Dent laughs. "You're welcome to see him, if you like. It'd be my pleasure. But first, if you would-"

He points at the utility belt clasped around his waist. Bruce scowls, holding on tight.

"No matter," Crane smirks, as a yellow tentacle rips it from his grasp and throws it off the catwalk. "Please, we've been busy, and you- you'll be wondering what exactly we've cooked up, hmm? You'll know the laboratory quite well by now. This, is the fruits of our labour," he continues, taking a glass bottle from the laden shelves. "It has a long, drawn out, chemically accurate name, but we've taken to calling it Fearless.

"Brown, Crane."

"One moment, please. Just answer me this. What is the Batman without fear? Well?

He's but a man. And what does... *society* have to fear from an ordinary man? Two-Face?"

Two-Face- 'Pleasure. See, I reckon removing that fear factor you hide behind won't do you much good. They'll all see you for what you truly are, Bats- A kid playing dress up, a coward who hides his face! Because, the truth is, the truth you hide and deny, is that everyone- everyone, is just like me, ugly- inside and out. Thanks to Crane, the whole world'll know it. The criminals will have a vaccine against an "unstoppable" myth, but the ordinary citizens out there? They get something better. Their true nature exposed. Killers like us all!

Batman scoffs. "And you, Crane? How exactly are you going to maintain your shallow reputation? You're every bit the 'coward' I am.

"Don't condescend me Batman. Not here, not ever again. I need no longer *use* fear in my crimes, no, now I've mastered it."

Batman prepares a retort, but stops himself suddenly. "Me. You said "me" Harvey."

Two-Face laughs, running his hand through what's left of his hair. "Ha! You really don't get it, do you? The great detective, stumped for clues!"

"Get. What?" Batman demands, as Scarecrow's ring forms a gurney around him, strapping him down.

"Harvey's gone, Bats, couldn't you tell?"

=====Holding Cells=====

Once he's in, Gar immediately rips off his helmet and gasps for air. He'd entered through the waste duct, the same one The Red Hood had fallen through on one end, and emerged out the other. If he wasn't certain his suit was airtight, he would never have agreed to this.

It was almost funny. They'd counted on one thing: Scarecrow would never have thought anyone could be stupid or suicidal enough to break in this way. Chuck has to be near by, the pump room, now remodeled into Scarecrow's personal torture chamber, was the most secure place in the plant.

"Jesus." Gar stepped back, it was worse than he thought... Chuck *wasn't* the first. Far from it. He places his hand on the tape recorder and presses play, Scarecrow's drawl filling the room as he peers into each cell.

"Subject's name is Paul Dekker. Dekker is an... interesting specimen. He acts on impulse on a daily basis. He follows his hippie, free spirited mantra to the letter. The effects of Fearless are minimal, the man has no shame, and that's without the drug. If he will not desist with his displays of... affection with the other inmates, then, regrettably, termination may be required."

"Come and join the party Garfield! It's going to be a blast!" Dekker calls out, raising an imaginary glass to toast him.

"Subject's name is Mitchell Mayo. When I discovered Mayo, he was dying from kidney failure, an affect of the earthquake. We nursed back him to health, and he's been with us ever since. Mayo is one of our most successful subjects. Meek, and timid, the process has allowed him to emerge from his shell, louder and more confident than before. Could there be a place for something as laughable as the Condiment King in our new world order? With mustard gas, and hot sauce that burns like acid... there just might be."

Mayo rolls around in his cell, dirt covering his face and hands. "What's wrong, Firefly? Isn't this the part where you start laughing? Your kind, always quick to giggle!"

"Subject's name is Doctor Kirk Langstom. As a fellow scientist, I've always been a fan of Dr Langstom's work, it's all rather impressive. There's been many a time at Arkham where notes have been exchanged over the disgusting bowls of porridge served in the Asylum's canteen. Of course, the jewel of his research is his Man-Bat formula... Over the years, Langstom's been able to wrestle control over the beast's animal instincts, but once Fearless was employed, that control has melted away to nothing. Four men are dead, devoured. Not unlike the effects seen in Subjects A2 and D4 (See subfiles Doctor Grace Balin and Waylon Jones)"

The Man-Bat doesn't speak, it thrashes against the glass, roaring with animalistic ferocity. Gar nods, only a little bit terrified, and continues through the cell block.

"Subject's name is Charles Brown. A late bloomer. Dent tells me Charles is quite the fighter. Fearless tells a different story. He is full of limitless potential, but he is held back by his insecurities, and his grief. Edward Nygma murdered his child, an action which spiralled Brown into depression and finally... Kite-Man. "Hell Yeah," I believe his devotees say. He's a born leader. But he wants none of it. He just wants to do his son proud, and is *more* than happy to get himself killed along the way. He's a good man, in a world where the only people who act, are not."

======

"You know, I used to think you a totem of fear, it's master, but I've seen your true face now, and I'm... disappointed. You're just a puppet like the rest, aren't you, Wayne? A slave to fear, nothing."

Batman awakens to a cawing in his ear... Beside him, thousands of starved birds scream in cages.

"The chemical had an... Interesting effect on Mr Dent. It takes away limits, the mental barriers... Morality. And, Harvey Dent without morals? Well, that's just Two-Face," Scarecrow smiles, hobbling on his cane.

"And the first thing I did was melt that damn coin down and shape it into this. A silver bullet with your name on it. Let's see if *that* kills you," Two-Face continues, pulling his jacket aside to reveal his holstered pistol.

"Ironically, a little theatrical for my liking, hah. Not to mention... inaccurate. Silver bullets kill werewolves, not vampires. No. The *first* thing he did, was share your little secret, Wayne.

As you'll soon discover, this isn't just a toxin! It's a virus, carried by crows, rats, pigeons. And, like the vermin who carried the bubonic plague so many years ago, my toxin will infect millions."

Moonlight bounces off of Two-Face's blood soaked, patchworked face. "Tonight, Crane's pets will fly over those walls, infecting everyone they come into contact with- man, woman, child, and their moral inhibitions, will melt away."

Scarecrow- It's all rather amusing, to think that this is what happens when you remove fear from the equation- that fear of consequence, gone.

Two-Face- And what's left? People will do whatever they want, whenever they want, to whoever they want- theft, rape, murder, it'll all come pouring out. Everyone has those same dark thoughts you know, but now... now they're going to act on them. It'll be chaos. And then, *and* then, what'll separate them from us? Who'll be the *real* criminals?

"-I can cure them, of course, but, for a small fee. After all, what is research without a little... government funding."

Batman wrestles with his restraints. "I'll stop you."

Two-Face- But... you're in here. Heh. You can't stop those birds, no, no, no, not all of them. They'll spread across the city, and nothing will separate the innocent from the predatory.

Batman- You *know* how this ends.

"I know how it's *supposed* to end!" Scarecrow snaps back. "I've not just read the script, I've lived it, time and time again, always the same- I alter my toxins, Batman shuts me down, and I am transferred to the Asylum in a fresh body cast. Well no more! Time we broke that cycle. No more padded cells.

...

See, fear is everything, Batman. Fear is the power behind a gun. Fear is the mistress of extortion and blackmail. Fear is what drives us all, every doubt, every worry, that is *fear.* Without that, without fear, we have nothing. And that is exactly what those people will have when this night is through. Nothing."

"Hope, Crane. They'd have hope."

"You've been exchanging notes with the boyscout... Well, answer me this, Dark Knight! Tell me, do you think the bug has rescued Charles, yet?"

======

"Gar..." Chuck mutters, as Lynns takes out his flamethrower and smashes through the cell door. "You shouldn't have-"

"I'm going to fix this, Brown, alright? Don't speak."

"Yeah," Chuck smirks, "Yeah... Look out!"

A green hand pulls Gar back, it's grip melting away his armour- hotter than anything he's ever seen before; his skin, exposed to his attacker, starts to boil and sizzle, the mark of Doctor Phosphorus. It's skull-like features contort into a furious scowl.

"You're going to burn for this."

=====

"Lynns, Bats? The serial arsonist? The mass murderer! You really love your scarred-faced fuck-ups! Heading into battle with the Firefly, when you, you cut Harvey out of the loop for far less! Drop a little Fearless in his coffee and he might just burn Gotham to ash. Not before planting one on Walker, of course."

Crane chuckles to himself. "I don't care who you are. You're just a man, after all. But indulge me, tell me, what would you do if you found the man who killed them? The coward who ended the lives of Thomas and Martha Wayne. Would you be scared? Angry? Or would you sacrifice your moral compass just that once, and end him, just like he killed them all those years ago?"

Batman takes one look at Crane, and spits up blood, defiantly.

"Your silence speaks volumes, Dark Knight. Thank you."

Monino Central Air Force Museum (Moscow) July 2010

The Tupolev Tu-4 (NATO reporting name: Bull) was a piston-engined Soviet strategic bomber that served the Soviet Air Force from the late 1940s to mid-1960s. It was a reverse-engineered copy of the U.S.-made Boeing B-29 Superfortress.

Towards the end of World War II, the Soviet Union saw the need for a strategic bombing capability similar to that of the United States Army Air Forces. The Soviet VVS air arm did have their own-design Petlyakov Pe-8 four-engined "heavy" in service at the start of the war, but only 93 were built by the end of the war as the type had been equipped with unreliable turbocharged V12 diesel engines at the start of its service to give it long range. The U.S. regularly conducted bombing raids on Japan, extremely close to the Soviet Union's borders, from distant Pacific forward bases using B-29 Superfortresses. Joseph Stalin ordered the development of a comparable bomber.

The U.S. twice refused to supply the Soviet Union with B-29s under Lend Lease. However, on four occasions during 1944, individual B-29s made emergency landings in Soviet territory and one crashed after the crew bailed out. In accordance with the Soviet–Japanese Neutrality Pact, the Soviets were neutral in the Pacific War and the bombers were therefore interned and kept by the Soviets. Despite Soviet neutrality, America demanded the return of the bombers, but the Soviets refused. Three repairable B-29s were flown to Moscow and delivered into Tupolev OKB. One B-29 was dismantled, the second was used for flight tests and training, and the third one was left as a standard for cross-reference. With the Soviet declaration of war against Japan in accordance with the Yalta agreement to enter the war within 90 days of VE day (to allow it time to move its forces from Europe to Asia) at about 11pm on August 8, 1945 -- two days after the U.S. bombing of Hiroshima and the subsequent entente with Japan ending, the fourth B-29 was returned to the US along with its crew.

Stalin tasked Tupolev with cloning the Superfortress in as short a time as possible instead of continuing with his own comparable ANT-64 or samolet (aircraft) 64, and Soviet industry was to produce 20 copies of the aircraft ready for State acceptance trials in just two years.

The Soviet Union used the metric system, thus sheet aluminum in thicknesses matching the B-29's imperial measurements were unavailable. The corresponding metric-gauge metal was of different thicknesses. Alloys and other materials new to the Soviet Union had to be brought into production. Extensive re-engineering had to take place to compensate for the differences, and Soviet official strength margins had to be decreased to avoid further redesign,[9] yet despite these challenges the prototype Tu-4 only weighed about 750 lb (340 kg) more than the B-29, a difference of less than 1%.

The engineers and suppliers of components were under pressure from Tupolev, Stalin, and the government to create an exact clone of the original B-29 to facilitate production and Tupolev had to overcome substantial resistance in favor of using equipment that was not only already in production but in some cases better than the American version. Each component made and each alteration was scrutinized and was subject to a lengthy bureaucratic process. Differences were limited to the engines, the defensive weapons, the radio (a later model used in lend-lease B-25s was used in place of the radio in the interned B-29s) and the identification friend or foe (IFF) system – the American IFF being unsuitable. The Soviet engine, the Shvetsov ASh-73 was a development of the Wright R-1820 but was not otherwise related to the B-29s Wright R-3350. and the remote-controlled gun turrets were redesigned to accommodate the harder hitting and longer ranged Soviet Nudelman NS-23 23mm cannon. Kerber, Tupolev's deputy at the time, recalled in his memoirs that engineers needed authorization from a high-ranking general to use Soviet-made parachutes. Additional changes were made as a result of problems encountered during testing, related to engine and propeller failures and equipment changes were made throughout the aircraft's service life. Although it has been widely quoted, the Tu-4 did not have a random hole drilled in the wing either to emulate a bullet hole or because a Boeing engineer made a mistake – the Russians had three complete aircraft and the wreckage of a fourth and the likelihood of all four having a hole in the same place is too small to be credible. The aircraft included 1 Boeing-Witchita −5-BW, 2 Boeing-Witchita −15-BWs and the wreckage of 1 Boeing-Renton −1-BN – three different models from two different production lines. Only one of the 4 had de-icing boots as used on the Tu-4.

The Tu-4 first flew on 19 May 1947, piloted by test pilot Nikolai Rybko. Serial production started immediately, and the type entered large-scale service in 1949. Entry into service of the Tu-4 threw the USAF into a panic, since the Tu-4 possessed sufficient range to attack Chicago or Los Angeles on a one-way mission, and this may have informed the maneuvers and air combat practice conducted by US and British air forces in 1948 involving fleets of B-29s. Some attempts to develop midair refueling systems were made to extend the bomber's range, but these were fitted to only a few aircraft.

The aircraft was first displayed during a flyover at the Aviation Day parade on 3 August 1947 at the Tushino Airport in Moscow. Three aircraft flew overhead. It was assumed that these were merely the three B-29 bombers that were known to have been diverted to the USSR during World War II. Minutes later a fourth aircraft appeared. Western analysts realized that the Soviets must have reverse-engineered the B-29. The appearance of an obviously Superfortress-derived Tu-70 transport over the crowd removed any doubt about the success of the reverse-engineering.

Eight hundred and forty-seven Tu-4s had been built when production ended in the Soviet Union in 1952, some going to China during the later 1950s. Many experimental variants were built and the valuable experience launched the Soviet strategic bomber program. Tu-4s were withdrawn in the 1960s, being replaced by more advanced aircraft: the Tupolev Tu-16 (starting in 1954) and the Tupolev Tu-95 (starting in 1956). By the beginning of the 1960s, the only Tu-4s still operated by the Soviets were used for transport or airborne laboratory purposes. A Tu-4A was the first Soviet aircraft to drop a nuclear weapon, the RDS-1.

So this is stranger #4 :)

I've been at the beach all day soaking the rare scandinavian sun. So when I finally got around to take my daily portrait it was 9.30 in the evening. Non the less I picked out this fine man from afar! I truly have a thing for beards! He wanted to know what the project was about. So I told him and he agreed :) Afterwards we talked a little about beards - how I like to grow mine until they drives me nuts - He got inspired to grow his just like the bass player of his favourite band.

I promise that my next portrait will be beardless ;)

Also my last portrait got explored - this is the first time I've tried that!! I'm kind of very excited about that :)

Wasteland : Vol 4 : The Green Lake

Taken at some construction site, my friend went there to shoot first that's how i know this place. Apparently some chemical change made the water looks green.

I know the composition is odd, i had to do some climbing to get this shot, and the ground was full of rocks too.

Today I've got another MK group ready. Another few groups of MK figs will be here soon but for now I've got this bunch here.

Kitana - Pretty simple fig here, but I didn't really have many options with her or Jade, who I've ordered parts for. Batarangs are supposed to be her fans.

(Ningago torso and legs, BW face)

Erron Black - Rootin' Tootin' Arthur Morgan was pretty easy to make, just using various parts.

(Ninjago torso and legs, LotR head)

Kung Lao - Another super simple fig just like the rest of this group, the only unique aspect about him is the painted hat.

(Ninjago torso and legs, HP head)

Saibot - I needed a fourth figure to fill up this showcase, so I just added Saibot, who is Noob's shadow. Noob is in the back with his new sickle, most of the other characters got weapons as well.

(Literally just a black figure)

That's all them for today, the order I've got coming in this week includes Raiden, Sonya Blade, Liu Kang, Johnny Cage, Jax, Baraka, Jade, Shang Tsung, Kano, Quan Chi, Sareena, and Nightwolf, sonexpect a couple more showcases soon!

The first generation iPhone (2g), the third generation iPhone (3GS), and the fourth generation iPhone (4). The straight edges of the face of the iPhone 4 give the illusion of a larger black bezel around the screen, notably above and below the screen.

The curvature in the first three generations gave the illusion that the bezel disappeared earlier. The second and third generations (3G and 3GS) had much more gradual curves in the back, making the phone look thinner when viewed from the front and sides.

Hoy he cambiado mi modo de actuar.

Patricia estudia bellas artes. Todavía cuando miro su retrato no puedo apartar mis ojos de esa mirada que atrapa.

Today I changed my way of acting. Now choose the stage and wait to my next unknown. I do not walk the streets anxiously looking for a face.

It was getting dark and I was going to go home. I had lost hope for today. Then there was Patricia. Everything was very easy, very natural. It seemed that all life had settled. When the trafic lights were green, came a wave of car and asked her to wait.

Patricia studied fine arts. Yet when I look at her picture I can not take my eyes off that look that catches.

It's a nice evening in Blüdhaven. Dick Grayson is in his appartment, packing his bag. He's going to Gotham for a while. After the events of "City in ruïns" his suit and weapons were damaged, and Barbara offered to make a new suit and new batons. He took a little time off from the superhero life and he went to his appartment in Blüdhaven. Dick asked Starfire and Donna Troy to keep an eye out on Blüdhaven in Nightwing's absense. He packed his bag and he wants to leave his appartment. When he opens the door though, he sees Starfire and Donna.

DT: "Hey Dick. Are you in a hurry?"

NW: "Hey you guys. Nawh, come in."

DT: "Thanks."

NW: "Take a seat. Want something to drink?"

SF: "No thanks, Dick. We just wanted to brief you in on Blüdhaven's current situation before you leave."

NW: "Ohw, yeah, okay. Go ahead."

DF: "We rolled up the Royal Flush Gang. They hid in a warehouse, owned by LexCorp."

NW: "I don't think Luthor would hire the Royal Flush Gang to rob a bank, so I think that's just coinsidence. But great that you guys caught the Royal Flush Gang! Anything else?"

SF: "We took down Chemo in the bay. He was planning on poisoning the bay. We stopped him just in time."

NW: "Alright. Great job you two. Thank you so much you guys want to do this."

SF: "We're happy to help."

DT: "We won't hold you up any longer. We'll go watch over Blüdhaven again, you get to Gotham."

NW: "Yeah thank you guys. When you need anything, the key to my appartment lies underneath the welcome matt."

DT: "Thanks, we'll remember that."

Dick walks out of his appartment with his bag. He walks downstairs and then outside. He looks up to the sky and he sees Donna and Kori flying away. He thinks about the time he was together with Kori. About their time together with the Teen Titans. They were a couple, but they broke up when Babs got shot by the Joker and they became closer. Closer than Kori and he ever were. Then he thinks about his current girlfriend, who he's going to see again. Barbara Gordon, aka Batgirl. They met at high school and they became friends pretty quickly. Barbara had a crush on Dick for a little while but he couldn't date her because he was with Starfire. She operated as Batgirl for a while when Bette Kane quit for a little while. Barbara was shot by the Joker however, and she became wheelchair bound. She operated as Oracle for the Batfamily for some time and became Dick's girlfriend when he became Nightwing. Lucius Fox however was able to let Barbara walk again, and she would become Batgirl again. Dick climbes on his motorcycle and he heads for Gotham. Arriving at Wayne Manor, Alfred would take his bag to his room, so he could go to the Batcave, since Barbara had a present for him.

NW: "Hey Alfie. Good to see you again."

AP: "That certainly, master Dick."

NW: "Can you take my bag to my room? Since I guess Babs is waiting for me."

AP: "She indeed is waiting for you in the Batcave. I will take you bag."

NW: "Thanks Alf, you're the best. Where are Bruce and Time by the way?"

AP: "They are sparring in the Batcave."

NW: "Alright. Thanks Alf."

AP: "No problem, master Dick."

Dick enters the Batcave and he goes looking for Barbara. He finds her inside her personal lab.

NW: "Hey you."

BG: "Hey! You're here!"

Babs jumps up and gives Dick a big kiss.

NW: "Wow, you're excited."

BG: "Yeah duh. I made you a new suit. And it has some changes."

NW: "Well, show me!"

BG: "Hihi, alright."

Babs turns the light on inside some kind of costume case. In the case stands a black and blue costume. Next to the case stands a table with two batons on it.

NW: "Wow."

BG: "Do you like it?"

NW: "It looks amazing! But, why replace the red with blue?"

BG: "I don't know... It just seemed more soothing for you."

NW: "Well I definitely like it!"

BG: "Wanna see what I did with your batons?"

NW: "What did you do?"

BG: "I modified them. Now, they can't break, and they hit harder."

NW: "Damn, Babs. You're the best, you know that?"

BG: "I surely know that."

NW: "Wanna know how you can even do it better?"

BG: "I think I might have an idea."

They start kissing and Dick slowly moves his hand towards Babs' zipper of her suit. Babs moves slowly towards the zipper of Dick's pants and they lean on the table. When Babs want to pull of Dick's pants they hear a sound and then they hear Bruce over the speakers.

BM: "Dick, I know you're in the cave and that you've found your suit. I need everyone at the batcomputer right now. We have a case that's verry important. Oh and Dick and Barbara. I have camera's in every part of the cave, don't you dare."

NW: "Damn it..."

BG: "Damn, am I happy that we've never done it in the cave."

NW: "I highly agree with you on that one. Well, let's see of the suit functions good. Wanna help me put it on?"

Barbara throws a fome batarang at the camera and she than turns to Dick.

BG: "With pleasure."

Sorry, sorry, sorry, a day late........... won't happen again (well, it probably will).

Struggled a bit with this theme, thought about taking an image indoors at home but that would would mean having to tidy up and I have done quite a lot of indoor "coffee table" stuff of late for my 365.

Also thought about posting a pic of my two girls as they are where my heart truly is but trying to get my eldest to pose for a photo is hard enough at the best of times.

Then, inspiration struck and I came up with this idea but had very little time to shoot the image. Leaving work late today I stopped off on the way home to get a couple of shots.

I have lived in Essex all my life and really do consider it my place of home. I have worked all over the UK at various points of my working life and am always happy to see this sign whatever route I travel back into the county on as it means I'm usually no more than 30 minutes away from home.

The light trails on the road are cars leaving Essex into the county of Hertfordshire and the light trail in the sky is people returning to Essex to land at Stansted Airport.

Just seen the week 5 theme and looking forward to dusting off the Photoshop skills to see what I can come up with.

Week 4 : Flowers.

If you've been following my work long enough to know my style, you'll know how much I love flowers. I already had a lot of ideas in mind, made up around the concept of flowers so this wasn't hard. The hard part was me being clumsy - accidentally scraped my knee and got a minor cut on my finger. But other than that, all is good!

Happy Chinese New Year! Best wishes for the year of the horse.
