Kite festival: Not only beautiful kites to watch - we could see some very sportive challenges. These four kites were leaded each single of four people and flew a kind of formations flight. I have never before seen such exactly leaded high speed kites flying together - it was breathtaking, and the kite leading guys were real artists.
Modified Helios 44M-4 at F4 or F5.6. As said before, "swirly" bokeh is not the only thing this lens can do - "toy camera" is another option with a bit of focus in the centre. I have not yet tried the lens for portrait. This is a view down High Street (Markyate, Hertfordshire) with a red poppy decoration to the right (last week we remembered the victims of the wars and Armistice Day).

This was seen in the field with 5 ponds. At this time all had a fair amount of water in them. This week one has no water at all and the others much less than then.
This is the only species of dragonfly I have seen this year in any numbers.
