Yard full of stuff connected with the Renault garage in the background, including pre-facelift 21 and the Horizon.
This 405 used to belong to an older man who lived a few streets away from the garage I used to work at, and it did come in to us for it's MOT every year.
Last week, it appeared at the car auction I work at during the evenings (and, as of next month, full time). It got a bid of £110 in the sale, having a reserve price of £175. I suspect the top bidder might have had to pay a little more, as the garage who entered it into the auction (where it obviously got traded in at), are known to me as being strict with their prices (i.e they always want top dollar).
Unfortunately, I do fear slightly for it's future, due to the low price it fetched, and the fact that the guys I saw bidding on it were gypsies (and that's never a good sign in my experience). So I'll be keeping an eye on it's DVLA status. A week on from it's sale, it's only ventured as far as the street outside the auction.

I live in a popular and cosmopolitan area in Montelimar. Every year one of my neighbors bought an old car Peugeot (break preferably) and share in the depths of Africa to sell it and spend some time there ... The old peugeot migration to Africa always make me think the last walk to the elephant graveyard ...

Class 755. 405. 'FLIRT'. Bi-mode Multiple Unit. In Greater Anglia livery. Seen at Ipswich Station, Suffolk.
I had seen this red 405 since months near to this Peugeot garage, 5 minutes away from home. It seemed particularly interesting because of the fog lights and the spoiler.
Today, I finally pulled over and wasn't disappointed. I looked at the rear wheel hub: It must be a 4x4! And yes, it was! Even a Mi16x4!
I definitely also like this interior very much!

I was lucky! I've taken these pics on Saturday, 18.04.2015.
This Monday, 20.04.2015, the 405 had disappeared. It had been parked there for months (without ever moving, I'd say).
