In developing nations water often has to be carried miles from a source to a village, usually by women. Our 3rd form pupils are finding out what that is like by running a relay around the boundary of the sports field carrying buckets of water. A lot got spilt.

This is to enable them to empathise with water bearers in less economically developed countries and raise money for Oxfam’s Water Aid Projects.

Aren't acorns lovely? I can't believe that this time next week we fly to America. Brilliant.
