This intersection was lame, and still is. But in about four weeks' time, this intersection will be "pretty," once the new traffic signals get installed. This time, city crews are doing it properly, by actually removing the old lampposts, rather than installing new ones behind the original ones, like at the intersection of 22nd Street and 3rd Avenue. To see that terrible job, click here. Sadly, the lights at 22nd Street and 3rd Avenue are still like that today, with the exception of the signals facing southbound traffic.

Hinamatsuri, or Girl's Day, takes place ever March 3rd in Japan. Dolls are set up, girls are treated to special foods and often dress up in Kimono.
Friends in my town were kind enough to invite us over for the holiday!
This will be the spare room. It has two closets, and two windows, so there is still a chance we will make it the kiddo's bedroom. However, it is a little smaller. As you go down the hall, it's the second door on the right, after the bathroom.
