Today marks the 3rd anniversery of a reuniting of littermates. How time flies!! Stella is feeling much better and will have surgery on the mammary tumor in a couple of weeks. I love my Grrrls and would do about anything for them. This month Stella cost us a bit-o-money....enough to buy a flatcoat show dog. She's priceless :)

I just found this old photo of me diving into my 3rd birthday cake.I guess it was a sign of things to come.
Rolling west behind BNSF ES44DC 7603 and C44-9W 4402, the third westbound autorack train in a row traverses the Illinois prairie. A distant green signal in the background hints at an approaching eastbound.
This intersection was lame, and still is. But in about four weeks' time, this intersection will be "pretty," once the new traffic signals get installed. This time, city crews are doing it properly, by actually removing the old lampposts, rather than installing new ones behind the original ones, like at the intersection of 22nd Street and 3rd Avenue. To see that terrible job, click here. Sadly, the lights at 22nd Street and 3rd Avenue are still like that today, with the exception of the signals facing southbound traffic.
