This five-lane bridge carries 3rd Street over the the former Atlantic Coast Line railroad bed (and now an access road to a Cape Fear Community College parking lot) in downtown Wilmington, North Carolina. It originally opened in 1920 and was expanded in 1955. The two outmost piers are from the widening. The original portion is the NCDOT's oldest bridge in New Hanover County. Today this bridge is in very poor shape, having a single digit sufficiency rating. The cage underneath is to prevent concrete from the 1920 portion from falling onto the access road. The 1955 and 1920 parts of the bridge are of a different construction. The 1920 portion is a tee beam bridge. meaning that the concrete beams and the rest of the superstructure are cast together. The new bridge is a steel stringer bridge, using heavy steel beams for support, like many modern bridges. I wish I knew why some bridges around here use these thin columns. It has to do with the soil, I guess.

Another cool progressive House Production comes from the UK based Studios Orphix. Produced by 3rd Degree and the Track is called ‘Satisfy’. Satisfy is a great Track and has a nice groovy Beat, which let your legs begin to dance automatically. It’s a progressive House Track with cool melodies which fit well and the amazing voice reminds you to a 80ies pop song. Very good for every party and we are sure that you will like it.
