Sometimes you are simply drawn to a strong personality. I was at the Austin City Limits Music Festival today enjoying some great music from Shields of Faith. This group is from San Antonio with the lead singer from New Orleans. Great set. However, there was a wonderful lady who was dancing and taking video the entire time. What energy.
This is Sharrell. Her husband is in the group. She had a beautiful smile. I introduced myself and this lovely lady could not be more interested in ME. However, her friend told me she was an accomplished minister who has been to many countries to bless and share her faith. She is recently back from Canada, but has visited Israel, Greece, and Africa.
She was so concerned about makeup...but I decided not to "polish the shine" because she EARNED that by dancing!
She and her husband are clearly lovely people. They actually have a radio show in San Antonio. If includes any of the music I heard today....I need to listen.

ahhhhhhh, late submission that I am not at all happy about.
Friday was definitely a low point in my photography. I don't think I'm much of a journalist photographer, and I think my editing skills are kinda going down. I need to unplug my brain from society and turn over a new leaf.
on another note, look at all that uncut grass! I'd joke with my mom saying that I'd pay the people to not cut the grass...seriously, love tall grass.

Nothing more beautiful than seeing my kids playing and happy. I can be having a bad day and just seeing them happy makes me happy...They are fish, they are in this pool day in and day out....

1962 Ashley-Ford Special.
Originally built up in 1964 using a 1939 Austin Seven chassis with the intention of using it in 750 class racing. It was purchased by the present owners' father in 1967 when it consisted of a rolling chassis and boxes of parts. It was finally restored after it was removed from long-term storage in 2013. It's now powered by a supercharged Reliant engine.

Parque natural
Tejera Negra es un hayedo situado en Cantalojas, en el rincón noroccidental de la provincia de Guadalajara (España). Forma parte del macizo de Ayllón, en el extremo oriental del Sistema Central. Es uno de los hayedos más meridionales de Europa.
En 1974 se declara al hayedo de Tejera Negra sitio natural de interés nacional y en 1978 se declara parque natural, que se amplió en 1987. Desde la creación del parque natural de la Sierra Norte de Guadalajara, el 22 de marzo de 2011, quedó integrado dentro de éste, por lo que se derogó su anterior declaración de parque natural.
