In the spirit of the today's snowstorm in Portland, here's a photo.
It was a blizzard - as much of a blizzard you can get in Portland - trying to get to this park. The snow was blowing straight into your face, depending on where you were heading...I walked backwards a few times...it was fun!

We planted these tulips in the fall and today they finally bloomed. The excitement Savannah felt to see this is what I want to remember when I look at this picture again. Edited in Flickr to increase saturation slightly. No other edits.
Day 273 of 365.
A treat to have lunch with Kate Michi Ettinger and talk about family, friends, spiritual practice and girls-only schools.
Thanks, Kate.

got a large bag of clementines at Costco the other day for Ryan. They were sour! What to do with them? Christmas decor- by dehydrating.
"Jellyfish are 97% water or something, so how much are they doing? Just give them another 3% and make them water. It's more useful."
— Karl Pilkington
We went down to the jetty before school this morning and looked with disgust at all the jellyfish in the river!
hazy sunday
Daylight savings time has kicked in, and while the first half the day most were in a haze; I'm certain the longer hours of daylight will soon fix that! On a side note, this is an almost identical shot to my day 2000 of POD overall.
