Our family helped put together Thanksgiving food boxes at Sacred Heart Community Services in San Jose. All told, our morning shift made 4,000 boxes for families.
Our friend, Poncho Guevara, Sacred Heart's executive director, is an inspiration. The amount of good that the community at Sacred Heart does is staggering. Over 70,000 food donations, toys for the holidays, backpacks for school, employment assistance, home weatherization, and housing assistance.

Sunday: Greetings from lockdown Spain, where FaceTime has become even more important to keep in touch. Day 5 of the 365 project; Day 23 of Lockdown - which is being extended 15 days at a time. It now extends to April 26th 2020.

Today I've been lazy... Got up at around 12 P.M. and watched some talk shows... Got out just at 3 P.M. and met some friends for some chat and a coup of coffee at the mall...
Also I went to the Yellow store (Nikon) to see if they can fix my 18-55 mm kit lenses... They want to send it to Bucharest to the service... I'll think about it... It still works, it just needs some tuning after it fell down on the New Year's Eve...
For this picture I used the 35mm prime...

I'm the cook of the household, although my wife makes soup to die for !
Tonight though, our son, Lewis decided he would make dinner.
I have shown him how to make risotto before and tonight he made a chorizo & butternut squash risotto that was quite frankly, as good as anything I could make, if not better.
This makes me feel a few things:
1. Hurrrumph
2. At last !
3. That's my boy
4. mmmmm.. time for wine !
Needless to say number 4 won the day.
I was photographing some corporate headshot for the lady who owns this bike, and she wanted me to photograph it too.
