Most every morning I am out of the house early to fetch ice for my cup to keep my spring water cold all day. This morning I noticed that the moon was shining brightly and lighting the broken clouds in some interesting shapes and patterns. I had my phone with me and decided to swing down to the lake shore to try and capture some pictures of it. Sadly, my phone doesn't take great pictures in the dark. It is better than my camera during the day, but in the dark, not so much. But my camera I did not have... I did get a passable picture of the power plant all lit up and creating a long trail of steam in the 0 degree (-18 C) weather.
While the picture taking didn't fully work out like I hoped, I was encouraged by the fact that while I was out I noticed that the sky was just beginning to grow lighter to the east. It has been a few months since I've had a hint of dawn while out so early. The days are getting longer and I'm all for it!

So used to taking photos late late late in the day, at the last minute, with no time to think of any clever poses/concepts for 365 project...I decided with this one that I'd go for early in the day, but still with no time for clever poses/concepts. Just hair.
I built this little mini set in my sunroom while watching Harry Potter. My dog would perk up every time she heard Snape’s voice, lol
well it wouldn't be my project if I didn't post late on my last day! I was actually trying to use glitter to add that NYE vibe, but turns out the glitter was too tiny to show up (except for on my pants). Faded glitter backdrop for the win! This project has been amazing but I'm sooo excited to not take a photo tomorrow! ^.^
FINALLY made myself go outside for a picture today (I mean, it got up to 70F so I had no choice ;P). I looove living walking distance to a lake.
today i went on a field trip with my foundations art class to mass moca, the william's college museum of art, and the sterling and francine clark art institute. all three museums were magnificent but it was the people in my class who definitely made the trip worthwhile.
i feel very lucky to know the people that i do at this point in time and i can honestly say that today was one of the best days of the entire semester :)

333.365 - November 29, 2013 - Made a new purchase today. I found a vintage camera for sale locally and bought an Ansco Rediflex. I've been wanting an old camera like this to use for a prop and also to do some TtV photos. So, today's pic is my first go at TtV (through the viewfinder) photography. I think I'm gonna have a lot of fun with this!
