The Alfa Romeo Brera and the Alfa Romeo Spider (Type 939) are two sports cars manufactured by Alfa Romeo respectively between 2005-2010 and 2006-2010. The Brera is a 2+2 coupé, while the Spider is its roadster version. Both models were built by Pininfarina.
12,488 units of the Spider and 21,786 units of the Brera were built. Production of both models ended in late 2010, although remaining stock continued into 2011.
Production:
The Alfa Romeo Brera was introduced in production form at the 2005 Geneva Motor Show. It translated the original's exterior appearance on a much smaller scale, becoming a mid-size coupé on the GM/Fiat Premium platform (shared with the Alfa Romeo 159), and designed to replace the outgoing GTV. A convertible Spider version of the Brera was also announced, to be launched shortly after the coupe and to replace the existing GTV-based Spider.
In Europe, the Brera was initially available with two petrol engines, the 185 PS (136 kW; 182 hp) 2.2-litre JTS and 260 PS (190 kW; 260 hp) 3.2-litre V6; and a 210 PS (150 kW; 210 hp) 2.4-litre JTD turbodiesel. Cars with the diesel or 2.2 petrol were front-wheel drive, whilst the V6 came with a Torsen four-wheel drive system similar to the 159's Q4.

Un día como hoy, hace 32 años, me trajeron a vivir a esta ciudad con apenas 7 años.
Hace años que no había vuelto a los alrededores de mi colegio, y es curioso los recuerdos tan difusos que tengo de aquella época.
Recuerdo el día que llegué a Valladolid, más concretamente al barrio de Las Delicias. Una ciudad gris, con sus calles estrechas y oscuras, con sus aceras de brea, con sus olores extraños para mi olfato (luego supe que eran las chimeneas de carbón y el sucio humo que soltaba la desparecida fábrica de NICAS), apenas a ciento cincuenta metros había hasta una vaquería que también aportaba su toque aromático, e, increible, con personas que hablaban como los de los telediarios (un acento muy finolis para mi oído extremeño).
Todo lo veía con la ilusión de un niño, al que todo lo nuevo le llama la atención.
Esta imagen de mi cole, curiosamente, me trajo recuerdos malos, recuerdos de ese primer día, recuerdos difusos, pero sobre los que destacaba ese primer día. Recuerdo mi primera salida al patio por aquella puerta desenfocada, y cual fue mi sorpresa, que de repente me encontré solo, sin ningún niño que me aceptara para jugar... Solo uno de ellos se acercó a mí, y tuvo el detalle de decirme a que zona del patio no fuera para que no me pegaran ciertos niños que debían ser los matones del patio. Así fueron mis primeros días de cole, hasta que ese primer niño y otros cuantos se hicieron mis amigos.
También me trajo recuerdos de la discriminación por parte de mi profesora por mi acento. La verdad es que ya no solo fue el cambio de ciudad, sino de maneras de vivir y de relacionarse hasta entre niños.
En definitiva, fue un breve paseo, que, aunque parezca triste, necesitaba dar.

Take a photo with “paint” as the subject, so I was out and about, during the walk I thought “I'll come across something”. And yes, the outside door of Trudy's living room was open, I could look inside. She was painting a wooden bench a nice gray color. When I looked around her room and saw all those paintings, I guessed Trudy was an artist. No, she is not creative, she said. She does collect paintings. She currently owns a work of art from all the painters in her city of Vlaardingen. Her house is full. She thought it was funny that I wanted to take a picture of her. And of course with the paintbrush in her hand. Thanks Trudy!

Went up to Newcastle for work today. Hoped to get a quayside shot or maybe the bridges. It was the Tyne/Wear football derby and the weather turned ugly so I ended up asking these mounted officers if I could take a pic. Newcastle lost. Image 32/365.

Last step was to fit some door controls. I pushed out the alloy plate which was glued over the old door control hole and installed the emergency button I think from 179 front door.

It is ... to feel cold.
Even snow is not ice.
It is water!!!
It becomes cold when I watch this waterfall photograph.
Today is over but nothing happened; i got off work at 6am. came home, showered, slept until 1, watched the office, literally all day, went to sit in the hot tub with Bash and then went to work.
Now it's 2am on wednesday morning and i have to get up in 7 hours so good night.
