2016 Thomas SafTLiner C2 bus #32 at the Cardinal Bus Garage in Middlefield, Ohio. One of five 2016s. Bus is currently subbing for 31, which has been out of service for the 2021-2022 school year.
The Saab 32 Lansen was a two-seat, transonic military aircraft designed and manufactured by Saab from 1955 to 1960 for the Swedish Air Force (Flygvapnet). Three principal variants of the Lansen were built for attack (A 32A), fighter (J 32B), and reconnaissance (S 32C). During its long operational life, the Saab 32 also served as an electronic warfare platform and target-tug aircraft.

The Carrousel Towing System type tug is seen here assisting on the bow of the brand new tanker Cap Quebec.
The tug is owned by Multraship but is on wet lease to the Port of Antwerp Authority. The port is planning on buying two new tugs and leased this unit from Mutraship to test the use of the new type.

The Alfa Romeo Brera and the Alfa Romeo Spider (Type 939) are two sports cars manufactured by Alfa Romeo respectively between 2005-2010 and 2006-2010. The Brera is a 2+2 coupé, while the Spider is its roadster version. Both models were built by Pininfarina.
12,488 units of the Spider and 21,786 units of the Brera were built. Production of both models ended in late 2010, although remaining stock continued into 2011.
Production:
The Alfa Romeo Brera was introduced in production form at the 2005 Geneva Motor Show. It translated the original's exterior appearance on a much smaller scale, becoming a mid-size coupé on the GM/Fiat Premium platform (shared with the Alfa Romeo 159), and designed to replace the outgoing GTV. A convertible Spider version of the Brera was also announced, to be launched shortly after the coupe and to replace the existing GTV-based Spider.
In Europe, the Brera was initially available with two petrol engines, the 185 PS (136 kW; 182 hp) 2.2-litre JTS and 260 PS (190 kW; 260 hp) 3.2-litre V6; and a 210 PS (150 kW; 210 hp) 2.4-litre JTD turbodiesel. Cars with the diesel or 2.2 petrol were front-wheel drive, whilst the V6 came with a Torsen four-wheel drive system similar to the 159's Q4.

The Clyde puffer is essentially a type of small steamboat which provided a vital supply link around the west coast and Hebrides islands of Scotland, stumpy little cargo ships that have achieved almost mythical status thanks largely to the short stories Neil Munro wrote about the Vital Spark and her captain Para Handy.
The vessel is 66' 4" long. 18' beam. 8' 6" draft at the stern and 4' at the bow. She weighs approximately 160 tons displacement dead-weight. The engine was built in 1943 by Crabtrees of Great Yarmouth. It is a compound steam engine developing 120 horse power. The 'VIC 32' was built by Dunston's of Thorne, Yorkshire in November 1943. This was a busy time for the Clyde Shipbuilding yards and the Admiralty needed 50, victualling boats in a hurry. So they were built in groups of 3 by various different yards in England. 'VIC 32' worked out of Corpach at some time during the war, taking ammunition from barges moored at the head of Loch Eil and supplying the Atlantic fleet with victuals at the Saint Christopher's Base at Corpach. Also worked as a day boat in Rosyth Naval Dockyard after the war until she was sent over to White's of Inverkeithing to be scrapped in the 60's.
VIC 32 spent many years in Whitby until it was bought by Nick Walker in 1975. The hold was converted to give a 6ft headroom for the cabins and a floor fitted for the saloon and galley area above by raising the height of the cargo hatch by 2ft. Since 1979 the vessel has been taking fare paying passengers on various trips around the Scottish coastline ranging from Glasgow to Inverness.
VIC 32 is one of the last few surviving coal-fired steam-powered puffers, and is based at The Change House, Crinan.
Steam sailings have been available to the public from 1979, latterly as cruises on the Caledonian Canal. From 2004 she underwent extensive refitting at Corpach Boatyard at the west end of the canal near Fort William, funded by donations and lottery funds.
After fitting of a new boiler, she steamed down from Fort William to Crinan, from where cruises on the Caledonian Canal have now re-commenced.
Un día como hoy, hace 32 años, me trajeron a vivir a esta ciudad con apenas 7 años.
Hace años que no había vuelto a los alrededores de mi colegio, y es curioso los recuerdos tan difusos que tengo de aquella época.
Recuerdo el día que llegué a Valladolid, más concretamente al barrio de Las Delicias. Una ciudad gris, con sus calles estrechas y oscuras, con sus aceras de brea, con sus olores extraños para mi olfato (luego supe que eran las chimeneas de carbón y el sucio humo que soltaba la desparecida fábrica de NICAS), apenas a ciento cincuenta metros había hasta una vaquería que también aportaba su toque aromático, e, increible, con personas que hablaban como los de los telediarios (un acento muy finolis para mi oído extremeño).
Todo lo veía con la ilusión de un niño, al que todo lo nuevo le llama la atención.
Esta imagen de mi cole, curiosamente, me trajo recuerdos malos, recuerdos de ese primer día, recuerdos difusos, pero sobre los que destacaba ese primer día. Recuerdo mi primera salida al patio por aquella puerta desenfocada, y cual fue mi sorpresa, que de repente me encontré solo, sin ningún niño que me aceptara para jugar... Solo uno de ellos se acercó a mí, y tuvo el detalle de decirme a que zona del patio no fuera para que no me pegaran ciertos niños que debían ser los matones del patio. Así fueron mis primeros días de cole, hasta que ese primer niño y otros cuantos se hicieron mis amigos.
También me trajo recuerdos de la discriminación por parte de mi profesora por mi acento. La verdad es que ya no solo fue el cambio de ciudad, sino de maneras de vivir y de relacionarse hasta entre niños.
En definitiva, fue un breve paseo, que, aunque parezca triste, necesitaba dar.

Take a photo with “paint” as the subject, so I was out and about, during the walk I thought “I'll come across something”. And yes, the outside door of Trudy's living room was open, I could look inside. She was painting a wooden bench a nice gray color. When I looked around her room and saw all those paintings, I guessed Trudy was an artist. No, she is not creative, she said. She does collect paintings. She currently owns a work of art from all the painters in her city of Vlaardingen. Her house is full. She thought it was funny that I wanted to take a picture of her. And of course with the paintbrush in her hand. Thanks Trudy!

Went up to Newcastle for work today. Hoped to get a quayside shot or maybe the bridges. It was the Tyne/Wear football derby and the weather turned ugly so I ended up asking these mounted officers if I could take a pic. Newcastle lost. Image 32/365.

Attempted to view the Perseids, mostly saw moonlight on the cornfields. The glow behind me is Lincoln, 25 miles or so to the east
Last step was to fit some door controls. I pushed out the alloy plate which was glued over the old door control hole and installed the emergency button I think from 179 front door.
