Here is week 32's collage. The prompts were: something sticky, something drawn or written in pencil, a window or door, something that starts with a "J", chewing gum or cough drop wrapper and the bonus is a person or something that represents a person.
Needless to say, I did not use the prompt for something sticky. Moving right along...For something drawn or written in pencil, I found a scene of a woman looking out from her back porch. I also used a graphic I found online that was identified as being a pencil drawing. I doubt it is but it looks nice. On both graphics I added a sepia tone. I looked online and found the graphic of the lady standing on the letter "J". Whenever I think of cough drops, I think of the old brand, Smith Brothers Cough Drops. I preferred the cherry flavor over the licorice as a child. Now, I think I would prefer the licorice. For the bonus prompt I found a couple of old photos of persons. One is of a couple of school teachers and the other is a group photo of women. I tried to maintain a cohesion of color in all my elements. Also, as with almost all my collages, the overall theme is of a past time.

Theme: Seven Deadly Sins
Envy - I believe my cat, which happens to be an indoor cat, is envious of the outdoor cats, he sometimes sits in the window sill for long periods of time looking outside, most likely wishing he could go outdoors, mark his territory, and hunt for wildlife, and after catching a bird, rodent, or lizard, in gratitude for me feeding and taking care of him, he would bring the half eaten remains to my home, which is why he is an indoor cat.

We had a good day today! I was able to have coffee with a student and lunch with a friend, and then Kelsey and I finished up our gift certificate at our local Thai restaurant and went grocery shopping. It was a good cheery day.
I figured I'd try a self portrait for once! Pretty much every day after work for the past week, I've been taking a nap. Something tells me I need to improve my sleep schedule a little bit.
I also tried using Lightroom again tonight. I'd used it previously, but my needed to up the RAM in my computer for it to work properly. Now I've got 8gb and it works like a champ. Utilizes my multi-monitor setup pretty nice too!
