IAIS SIBI gets back up to speed as it paces 30 out of Joliet. At New Lenox, the train will battle the eastbound grade into Mokena before continuing through the southern suburbs towards Blue Island.
This is a big one for me. She and I have been through a lot this past ten. She is worthy, I am humble. Ride on.
For those wondering: A hit and run that almost cost me her, a fall in the winter and a major run in with a wanker of a copper.

Not sure what flower this is. But I like that the 24 year old Polaroid has so little color shift and may be pretty close to what it might have looked 20 years ago.

What a week I've had. I did my first 10k run and boy was that draining. I did a lot better than I thought as well. I finished in 58 minutes. I'm very proud of myself seeing as I don't work out or run period. But now I can't feel my legs.
I also feel a little blah about this shot. More so the editing because I just can't focus and anymore I feel like I might crash. But things I feel like are taking a good turn.
We'll chat some more next time.

30 years ICE
On May 29, 1991 at 12 p.m., Federal President von Weizäcker turned on the exit signal and ushered in a new era for German railways. The service of Inter City Express had started. Even 30 years after their introduction, the 401 series trains are still on the rail and, after two redesigns, offer more comfort than ever. Near Mitteldachstetten, 401 086 "30 Years ICE" was on its way to Munich with the Bundesbahn logo and the old belly band. According to the plans of Deutsche Bahn, some first-generation trains will be allowed to run until 2030. To date, each of the multiple units has over 15 million kilometers on the clock. A successful product!

As the days get shorter and darker, it's getting tougher to find a picture every day. Today, I needed to call in at the Owen-Jones residence, so whilst I was there, I decided to peek into the Polecat Pottery to see what was going on. Mark had been working on this lovely pot, so I snapped that. Is anyone else watching 'The Great British Throw Down' on BBC2 on Tuesday evenings? Seeing the lovely things in the Polecat Pottery and that programme both make me want to 'have a go'.

I was out for the day with some photography friends. We went to Cambridge Market where we met the lovely Emma. Emma runs her vintage stall called 'Ribbons and Rags' every Friday in Cambridge. Prior to that she travelled across the UK with a vintage fayre company.
My friends and I asked Emma if we could take some photos of her, she very kindly agreed and I explained about the stranger project and asked her if she would mind taking part, she was quite happy to.
Emma has some lovely vintage items on her stall, well worth a visit, I hope to return before too long. I couldn't resist purchasing a few vintage bottles.
