NS locomotor 263 rangeert in Amersfoort met een Kbs beladen met een "krol" = kraan op lorries (spoorwielen die neergelaten kunnen worden en vervolgens aangedreven worden door de banden van de kraan).

I was thinking about Halloween...
Here in The Netherlands we don't do halloween, but it kinda seems like a fun time to photograph!
So I decided to do 6 days of halloween fun with Danbo (Or whats left of him ;)
This is the first and he all ready lost his head... hope he makes it to October 31!

Timeskip back to earlier in the day! After the Bridgford Bus event we walked to Trent Bridge garage, just to see what was around. 263, which had been on display at Central Avenue, caught us up so here it is pictured arriving back at Trent Bridge after its own launch event.
The Not in Service blinds on the electric single deckers have this pleasing effect which mimics the old day-glo roller blinds fitted to vehicles in the nineties and early 00s, with the addition of a small NCT logo underneath. As cool as these displays are, they seem to be less reliable than the vehicles themselves and somewhere I read that apparently further orders of Yutong single deckers are to have Hanover blinds.

I was out shooting houses again today and didn't have much time to take any other photos. This was in one of the houses. I liked the shadow on the one side of the cove ceiling. My theme for my photography club is shadow play this month. Not sure if I'll use this one. I like something about it.

You can't beat fall in New England!
And how about another from this fabulous chase.
Vermont Railway train 263 approaches MP B8.45 on the Bellows Falls Sub on this glorious fall day a couple years ago. This modern 6 axle unit looks a bit out of place and would have dwarfed the Alco RS3s and 1s that ruled these rails in the waning days of the Rutland nearly a half century prior.
