VTR train 263 hauls a fairly short slurry train east through Proctorsville, VT as the 432 exits the bridge crossing the Black River.

I have been super busy this weekend so I could not upload photos. Anyway, I'm back in Miami after 10 hours in a plane in which I took lots of clouds picture. Today I went to the apartment I'm moving in this week, same as mine but higher in the building. I enjoyed it being empty and I took some pics!
Two months left before high school end. I cannot wait!

Lauren and I are both doing work on skeletons for our art projects.
So I went to hers yesterday and we took photos with a skeleton,
and out weirded ourselves which was cool. :D
I have too many pictures from every single shoot ive done with lauren. I hate uploading two in one day ( which is also why im uploading yesterdays 365s a day late. im putting off the 2 photos in one day-Day)

Vermont Railway train 263 is grinding eastward on the Green Mountain Railroad's Bellows Falls Subdivision on a damp cloudy late fall morning. They are in a colorful tree tunnel approaching the Town Hill Road crossing near MP 42.6 on this historic former Rutland mainline which opened between Bellows Falls and Burlington in 1849.
In the lead is SD70M-2 431 built in December 2006 for the Florida East Coast, and one of only two six axle units on the roster. She is trailed by three geeps (GMTX 2215, CLP 204, VTR 207) and thirty cars destined for Riverside Yard in Rockingham. The train is working hard and is in the process of climbing nearly 1000 ft in the 18 mile stretch from Rutland until they reach the crest of the Green Mountains at 1518 ft nearly aptly named Summit Station.

After watching the 405 switch in Riverside for a bit they finally parked their 70 yr old Alco and ran out of work just waiting for 263 to arrive down from Rutland. So I headed west looking for them, and though I heard them in the Ludlow area switching I never did find them until they were already headed east. Due to getting stuck first behind a road grade and then a lumber delivery truck it took a while to catch up to them and I didn't manage my first shot until deep in the green confines of Cavendish Gulf. After that I just chased back hitting a few spots along the way.
Having shot from outside this bridge many times I figured I'd try from insde this time. VTR 307 (EMD GP40-2 blt. Oct. 1984 as SSW 7255) and 432 (EMD SD70M-2 blt. Dec. 2006 as FEC 103) lead Vermont Railway train 263 at MP B8.45 on the Bellows Falls Sub framed up from inside the Bartonsville Covered Bridge.
This is one of the most iconic locations on the old Rutland at the famed covered bridge across the Williams River. The bridge is a lattice truss style with a 151-foot span, carrying Lower Bartonsville Road over the Williams River. It was built in 2012, replacing a similar bridge built in 1870 by Sanford Granger. The 1870 bridge, which was listed on the National Register of Historic Places, was destroyed in 2011 in flooding caused by Hurricane Irene. That historic bridge itself was a replacement for an even older one located about 1/4 mile upstream that was destroyed after the great flood of 1869 that changed the course of the river.
