Took my eldest to the Barbers today and decided to crack out the camera. I took a load of different shots, some of the Vespa owned by Alex one of the barbers, and Glen the owner asked me to take some photos of him cutting hair for his next loyalty cards he is having printed. Of course I obliged and if he likes them I'm in for a free hair cut upon my next visit. I suppose it's my first paid job :)
Today, I napped atop a picnic bench, raved extensively in a basement, and indulged my noctivagant inclinations through improvised ukulele summonings to the rain on a floating dock.

Lullaby skies
Another long and hard day at the office. Just like millions of other people, we're now homeward-bound only to find ourselves stuck in traffic. But with a sight like this in the evening skies, I'd gladly sit in traffic for days....so mesmerising, so soothing, it's almost putting me to sleep.
Timeskip back to earlier in the day! After the Bridgford Bus event we walked to Trent Bridge garage, just to see what was around. 263, which had been on display at Central Avenue, caught us up so here it is pictured arriving back at Trent Bridge after its own launch event.
The Not in Service blinds on the electric single deckers have this pleasing effect which mimics the old day-glo roller blinds fitted to vehicles in the nineties and early 00s, with the addition of a small NCT logo underneath. As cool as these displays are, they seem to be less reliable than the vehicles themselves and somewhere I read that apparently further orders of Yutong single deckers are to have Hanover blinds.

I have been reliant on nature for this week’s shots and she has given me a fair bit of material to work with.
Thought it looked better in Black and White.
Also this week I have been forcibly separated from my PC so am working on my laptop. I apologise for any shortcomings in the images and will correct them on my re-union with my computer.

I know I couldn't have posed like this today...too many sangria's last night, but they were so tasty at the time! I went overboard on the processing as normal with a little more edge for Sliders Sunday,plus a bonus carrot for Easter?:D

9/20/15 - I went out to Matthaei today. I took some nice pictures of some Monarch butterflies, but when I saw this, I liked it. This little grasshopper was hanging out on this flower.
