Dne 28.5.2022 jsem si udělal takovou okružní jízdu ze Starého Města u Uherského Hradiště na Sp 1783 Radhošť do Hulína, poté na páru do Kroměříže a měl jsem ještě celé odpoledne a nevěděl jsem, kam dál. Nakonec vyhrálo Brno, jelikož jsem měl příležitost jet část trasy Bouzovem. Přijedu do Brna a počasí nic moc. Jdu na flek, spadne na mě pár kapek. Oblačnost se potom poměrně rozpustila a okolo slunka mráček v nedohlednu. Říkal jsem si, že by to mohlo vyjít a taky že vyšlo. Na fotce je zachycená brněnská princezna 263.002 "Dáša" v čele odpoledního Os 4615. Fotka je pořízena v úseku Brno-Řečkovice - Brno-Královo Pole.

The irregular galaxy Arp 263 lurks in the background of this image from the NASA/ESA Hubble Space Telescope, but the view is dominated by a stellar photobomber, the bright star BD+17 2217. Arp 263 – also known as NGC 3239 – is a patchy, irregular galaxy studded with regions of recent star formation, and astronomers believe that its ragged appearance is due to its having formed from the merger of two galaxies. It lies around 25 million light-years away in the constellation Leo.
The interloping foreground star, BD+17 2217, is adorned with two sets of crisscrossing diffraction spikes. The interaction of light with Hubble’s internal structure means that concentrated bright objects, such as stars, are surrounded by four prominent spikes. Since this image of BD+17 2217 was created using two sets of Hubble data, the spikes from both images surround this stellar photobomber. The spikes are at different angles because Hubble was at different orientations when it collected the two datasets.

Bluebell Railway - Final Day of week of superb weather with S15 on service train - H Class 263 on Footplate Experience (DSC 5872)
Westbound trailers roll downhill under the 263 signal bridge at Summerhill. This signal was part of today's cutovers and was taken down.
Since 405 wouldn't have much to do and would largely be out of sight working up at Riverside we decided to follow the mainline west and look for road freight 263 that was coming east. Not knowing where they were we followed the old Green Mountain main until finally running into them at Ludlow.
So we turned around and set up for our first shot here as they approached the East Hill Rd. crossing as they head down the mountain approaching the Magris Talc plant at MP B25.5 of Vermont Railway's Bellows Falls Subdivision (the ex Rutland mainline). Leading is VTR 210 a rebuilt GP38-2 purchased from GATX that was originally blt. Oct. 1971 as Baltimore and Ohio GP40 4034. Trailing is SD70M-2 431 and dead in tow VTR 207 headed to the North Walpole paint booth for fresh red VRS paint.
