June 21 was just too hot to be very creative, so I did a quick background of acrylic, gesso and Inktense pencils, then cut out some magazine photos to add. Also a fortune from cookie (Panda Express)...the nose I painted on myself.
Hulleys of Baslow have added two deckers to their fleet this year, with these being the first deckers the company has owned since selling an ALX400-bodied Trident in early 2018. The first arrival was an ex Peoplesbus B7TL Gemini which was purchased in April and entered service in July before being joined in October by an ex Metroline Enviro 400. One of the deckers covers schoolday workings between Chesterfield and Lady Manners in Bakewell with a few X70s thrown in between, whilst the other is for reasons unknown being used on the 271/272.
The Enviro 400, LK09EKU (21), was on the 271/272 today, and this view sees it leaving Brough on the double run to Bradwell 11:20 from Sheffield to Castleton. The timetable introduced on this corridor in June differed from that in operation prior to lockdown in March in that the majority of journeys now operate as 272s, rather than 271s (via Hallamshire Hospital) as was the case previously. The services are shared with First which has reduced its vehicle input, meaning that there are now a couple of 90 minute gaps in what used to be a uniform hourly service between the two operators.
I haven't taken any light trail shots for a while and thought that the location with the pub lit up on the right hand side was a good point of reference. I'm not happy with the front of the car being in the image, but if I cropped any more I wouldn't have had all of the pub in the image.
Need to develop my post processing skills to remove unwanted bits of an image.

The left-side image for day 21 comes from Glenn Bailey here in Houston, TX. He's the Program Manager for the Literacy Through Photography Program at FotoFest International and because of him, I get to teach photography in schools and adult facilities every week.

Today I finally got the chance to see the summer exhibit at the Gallery of Modern Art. Fantastic stuff - but one of my favourites was this exhibit with letters. People had the chance to write a letter and leave it for strangers to read. We read one by a girl who is in love with Justin Bieber, another in Japanese with a post script in English talking about friendship, and this one _ which summed up all the ways the person would get back at their partner if they were ever betrayed. Really interesting art project.

mah....strani alcuni umani.....con queste folli superstizioni. Io di "maia" conosco solo la mia sorellina, altro che catastrofi preannunciate da un popolo estintosi tantissimo tempo fa.
Coraggio gente, è venerdì e la settimana lavorativa è quasi finita....e poi a breve sarà Natale (Uly mi ha detto che la Gatta è solita farci un regalino in questa occasione...sono troppo curiosa !!!)

Here's a very rare Caterham 21. This car was built for 5 years, from 1994 until 1999. Sadly, only 48 were produced. What makes the 21 special though, is it's design, the only Caterham with a "normal" car design.
