Llegada hace unas semanas desde Transendero, viene a jugarse sus últimos días a Quibús. Y la rescataron, la recuerdo bien, era un tarro de aquellos, de las más descuidadas de todo Quillota, y ahora la compraron, no es una gran joya, pero la dejaron bastante mejor, el interior lo arreglaron entero, y el chofer la cuida harto, para el recorrido de la línea, es perfecta.

Ooops - Long Exposure Shot Gone Wrong
Old Film Project – Roll #2: Long Exposure
The plan for this long exposure shot was to leave the shutter open for one minute while I visit each window in the house and “flash” myself in the window…so the end effect would be me photographed in each window.
Problems supreme:
My overall exposure is wrong.
Oncoming traffic created unexpected light on the bottom part of the house.
A huge scratch runs across the film (possibly from processing).
Window flashing is inconsistent in exposure.
Better Luck next time.

Councillor Worley, Leonard Clifford Albert (25th November 1909 - June 1980)
The family owned a small chain of Shoe shops and Bootmakers in Portsmouth for most of the 20th century. Worley was an active member of the Portsmouth Film Society, who was known to have often collaborated with other filmmakers, including Messrs. FW Taylor, Rex Verry, Tom Hooper, N P Fletcher and Antony Clover (grandson of the well known early filmmaker Alfred J West). Clover is known to appear on at least one of Worley’s films. The Club held public screenings of their films in Portsmouth and Southsea, and these would have been accompanied by suitable music and commentary, added live.
Worley married Miss Molly Bishop 20th June 1934, and numerous films in the collection feature the Bishop family and the homes of the extended family, as well as the marriage itself. These locations include South Parade, Southsea- on the junction with Clarendon Road; Grand parade, North End, Portsmouth, Torrington Avenue, North End, Portsmouth, St Simon’s Church – Waverley Road, Southsea, Kingscote – No.1 Eastern Park Villas, situated on the junction of Eastern Park Villas and Clarendon Road.
Worley served as a City Councillor in Portsmouth for a total of 24 years. For 2 years as City Councillor for St Thomas (1951-53), and then as City Councillor for St Paul between 1953-67 (14 years). He became Lord Mayor of Portsmouth in 1966 and after this role became an Alderman for St Paul from 1967-74, afterwards served as an Alderman for St Thomas in 1974-75. The films were deposited with WFSA by the filmmaker’s son, Cllr Frank Worley.

BIRTHDAY OUTING TO CHISWICK HOUSE (2/21)
SE façade of Chiswick House, London, currently being restored.
Jill in her red coat sets off the white stone of the building. We also visited the pioneering landscaped grounds (William Kent) with their classical-style monuments and sculptures.
Chiswick House was built in 1729 in Palladian style to designs by Lord Burlington (Richard Boyle, 3rd Earl of Burlington, "the architect Earl", 1694-1753), assisted by several contemporary architects. This was not for a home, but to house his art collections. We also visited the pioneering landscaped grounds (William Kent) with their classical-style monuments and sculptures.

The building stone, as with many of London's monuments and buildings, is Portland (late Jurassic) usually from either Dorset or Wiltshire in southern England. The textured stonework on the ground floor around the doorway and windows is not a natural feature of the stone, but 'vermiculated rustication' created by masons.

Brandgruppen fra Østjyllands Politi har nu afsluttet sine undersøgelser i forbindelse med sidste weekends kælderbrand på R. Hougårds Vej i Kristrup. Og der er ikke gode nyheder til beboerne i opgangen.
Alt tyder på en påsat brand
Politikommisær Claus Danø leverer den nedslående meddelelse om brandens oprindelse:
»Vi formoder, at branden er påsat. Vores teknikere fandt ikke noget, der på naturlig vis kunne antænde den kælderbrand. Med naturlig vis mener jeg el-installationer, rør eller noget lignende, der kunne have forårsaget gnister eller voldsom varmeudvikling,« siger han.
Derfor søger Østjyllands Politi nu vidner, der kan have set eller hørt noget mistænkeligt eller set en mistænkelig person opholde sig i området mellem 30 minutter og en time inden, at alarmcentralen modtog det første opkald om branden klokken 5.16 søndag morgen.
Sodskader i lejligheder
Branden udbrød søndag 17. juni i kælderen i ejendommen på Rasmus Hougårdsvej 21 i Randers. Den blev anmeldt af flere forskellige personer klokken 5.16. To kælderrum udbrændte, og der skete en del sodskader i lejligheder. Randers Brandvæsen sendte desuden tre røgdykkerhold ind, da ilden blev slukket.
Steak Sandwich
With lettuce and pickles on ciabatta bun with fried onions and a side of horseradish cream. ($21).
Notes: My friend ordered this and I didn't see the price-tag until afterward. OMG. This thing was as big as a truck (this picture doesn't give you the full perspective).
I don't think it would be possible to eat this steak sandwich with two hands - it's very much a fork-and-knife job. The steak was sliced and layed across a bed of thinly-sliced pickles and shredded iceberg. I don't like pickles (especially warm ones) in my sandwiches, so I would have had to set them aside. My friend didn't bother. She just basically ate the steack and gnawed on the top ciabatta bun.
I did taste the meat - it was good, but nothing spectacular. The horseradish cream wasn't horseradishy enough for me. The fried onions, however - the really skinny over-fried type, were enjoyed by all.
Han: If you don't, I'll personally see to it that you're memory is wiped and you're reprogrammed to clean out toilets you pathetic bucket of bolts!
Leia: Han! Cool your jets, hotshot! There's no reason to talk to the doctor like that, I have every confidence in his abilities.
Han: Oh yeah? This is the same droid who gave me a colonoscopy when all I needed was a kidney stone removed!
2-1B: I thought it would make you less of an ass, but now I understand that I was mistaken. Now stand aside, Captain so I may scan the patient!

1000 miles complete! This last run was from my house up around the trails on Cougar Mountain, 9.8 miles. Whew, I honestly didn't think I would make it over the course of the last 6 weeks, as I had fallen behind, but I persevered and pushed through, even with a 22 mile day and getting my car busted into. Though honestly the last 100 miles or so were more about the miles than getting out. I am healthier than when I began, fitter too. I have only lost around 10 pounds, mostly because I love to eat still. :) Though I have firmed up and lost some more inches. I have only been running for a little over a year (thanks to my neighbor) and I enjoy trail running, street running not so much. Last year I did a 1000 miles as well, but this year was much more of an accomplishment to me, since I didn't bike any (that I counted), as opposed to last year when I biked 430+ miles of the 1000.

I have no idea what this is. All I know is that I'm beyond exhausted & my brain is full of Lowe's terminology. Basically, I just really like how my hair looked in this.
This customer today said, "You look like a wild horse in the field with your hair like that." I stared at him, puzzled, then he said, "It's beautiful. You're very pretty." He was this older gentleman, probably granddad-age, and just so pleasant. He definitely brightened my day.
Secret #21 // When I was younger, I used to make chocolate milk with that powered chocolate then-Nestle Quik mix. I loved it. But, I'd wake up early in the morning, get the container, and eat it. I had this routine where I'd fill my glass with milk, get a spoon, get some mix, dip it in the milk to saturate it & eat it. I did that for a little, then finally make some milk, before the milk got warm. I thought I was so sneaky and figured my parents didn't know -- but they did :)
