Nous sommes en plein désert du Namib au milieu de nulle part. Il est 5h30 du matin; nous partons pour SOSSUSVLEI .. Les routes sont pleine de poussière de sable. J'ai hâte de voir ces dunes et paysages dont on parle tant !!

I spotted this sweet cuff bracelet in a boutique this weekend while walking around town. The word 'Love' is engraved in various languages. The bracelet measures 1 inch high by 2 inches across from each heart on either side of the word 'love'. Happy Valentines Day & HMM, everyone.

I took part in the "Medieval Fantasy Spectacular" MPS in Weil (Germany). This beautiful Viking caught my eye immediately and he was willing to be photographed. Thank you very much - if you find it here - dear Viking! :))

My daughter got married and moved off to Massachusetts in 2022. I was able to visit her in November when the leaves were putting on a beautiful show.
This photo isn't so concentrated on the Autumn color as it is on the broader color spectrum provided by not only the broadleaf trees in their autumn colors but also the varied greens of the evergreens, blue sky and water.
A year ago I felt sure 2021 would be a good year after the disasters of 2019 and 2020. All through 2021 I told myself 2022 would be a better year, and here we are, Covid infections numbers exploding again and no end in sight. Fasten your seat belts and keep a firm grip, this could be another year of turbulence.
