Argostoli is the capital city of Cephalonia, the largest of the Ionian Islands. Anchored offshore is Thomson cruise ship SS The Emerald. It was built in 1958 by the Newport News Shipbuilding and Drydock Company in Newport News, Virginia, USA. Before retiring in 2009 she was the last passenger ship built at a US shipyard still in active service. She was scrapped at the Alang Ship Breaking Yard, Gujarat, India in 2012. [Ref. Wikipedia]

About 2002, I believe, before the bike went on to repainting by Skills of Nottingham.
This reminds me of Bob Hexter (Big Green) of Grandview Bike Shop, where I worked in the late 70's. He would take in a bent fork by eye, and then proceed to make it right with a leather mallet.
Hundreds of trees snapped off at the trunk, a woman killed by a collapsing roof at an amusement park ride, and scenes like this, where an old church facade was blown off, raining bricks onto the sidewalk and street below, to the great misfortune of the owner of this former automobile. (Awhile ago I posted another view of this scene, flic.kr/p/tfHSDQ)

RM268 VLT268 a Metroline Routemaster at Euston Grove on route 10. Saturday 22nd June 2002. Built in March 1960 it saw final service in London operating from King's Cross outstation operating the 390 in the spring and summer of 2003.
One of Utah's more elusive units to me. At least in recent years. Utah Railway 2002 was made from Southern Pacific GP35 6304.

OCEANA
In November 2002, Ocean Princess entered service with P&O Cruises, operating from Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Her official naming ceremony took place in Southampton, England on 21 May 2003. She was christened by Anne, Princess Royal.
In 2003, P&O Princess Cruises merged with Carnival Corporation to become Carnival Corporation & plc. As a result, Oceana came under the ownership of Carnival UK, but continued to operate with the P&O Cruises fleet. Oceana was last renovated between 29 November and 17 December 2017 after she underwent a £31 million refit at the Blohm+Voss shipyard in Hamburg.Technical work and public area refurbishment was undertaken.
On 7 July 2020, amid the COVID-19 pandemic, P&O announced that it had sold Oceana to an undisclosed buyer.
On 8 July 2020, Greek newspaper Naftemporiki
reported that the Iliopoulos family, who was considering purchasing Oceana to begin cruise operations. The reports were later confirmed after Oceana was delivered to Seajets on 21 July 2020 in Patras. The former Oceana was later spotted with the Union flag on her bow painted over and bearing a new name, Queen of the Oceans, whilst docked in Patras.

The IceCat-V rover here is designed to explore the icy wastes of the Ice Planet in the far future year of 2002!
The caterpillar tracks on the side retract so the rover fits inside the larger orbital launch rocket ready to move on and explore the next planet.
This backdrop exists as a home for the IceCat-V tracked rover as you may have guessed from the tracks it's left in the snow.
The sign at the back is a original sew on patch in a case made using a Clickits picture frame 'glass' in front. That piece is just slightly larger than 10x10 studs and is held in place in the groove around the base of the grill tiles. Impressively the patch fluoresces under UV light, similar to the trans-neon orange pieces commonly found in Ice Planet 2002 models.

Designed by Enrico Fumia of Pininfarina with interiors by Walter de Silva of Alfa Romeo Centro Stile, along with a Spider version. The exterior design was finished in July 1988. Production began in late 1993 with four cars, all 3.0 V6 Spiders, assembled at the Alfa Romeo Arese Plant in Milan.
In 1997 a new engine, a 24-valve 3.0 litre V6, was available for the GTV along with bigger, 305 mm (12.0 in) brakes and red four-pot calipers from Brembo. The console knobs were changed from round central to rectangle ones and to a three-spoke steering wheel. Some versions were upgraded with different front bumper mesh to bring the wind noise down to 74 dBA.
In May 1998 the cars were revamped for the first time (Phase 2), mainly the interior was changed with new centre console, painted letters on skirt seals, changed controls and switches arrangement and different instrument cluster. On the exterior main changes included chrome frame around the grille and color-coded side skirts and bumpers.
With a further facelift in 2003 for the final full model year.

Ainda fofografava em filme :o) Fiquei bastante aflita que só gastei um rolo para as 3 primeiras músicas e foi quando percebi uma das palavras chave: concentração. Que não importa quantas fotos fazemos, mas as que fazemos.

I was still using film to photograph :o) I got really scared 'cause I had only used a roll of film for the three first songs of the concert (allowed to photograph) and, when I came from the lab, that was the very moment that I realised one of the key words in this: concentration. It doesn't matter how many pictures you take, but the ones you do.
