The Porsche 996 was introduced in 1998 replacing the Porsche 993, designed by Pinky Lai under chief designer Harm Lagaay, with an all new body and interior and drive-train including the first water-cooled engine in a 911.
Originally powered by a 3.4 litre flat-6 normally aspirated engine producing 296 bhp driving the rear wheels, and with a nose strongly resembling the entry level Boxster. From 2002 the engine was uprated to 3600cc and at the same time cars underwent a minor restyle which included switching to the Turbo-style headlamps and to a new front fascia, moving it away from the Boxsters appearance
Also in 2002, the Carrera 4S model was first introduced. The C4S as it is commonly called, shares the widebody look of the Turbo as well as the brakes and suspension.

Johannes Peter "Honus" Wagner (b, February 24, 1874 – d, December 6, 1955 at age 81) was an American baseball shortstop who played 21 seasons in Major League Baseball from 1897 to 1917, almost entirely for the Pittsburgh Pirates. Wagner won eight batting titles, tied for the most in National League history with Tony Gwynn. He also led the league in slugging six times, and in stolen bases five times. Wagner was nicknamed "The Flying Dutchman" due to his superb speed and German heritage ("Dutch" in this instance being an alteration of "Deutsch").
In 1936, the Baseball Hall of Fame inducted Wagner as one of the first five members. He received the second-highest vote total, behind Ty Cobb and tied with Babe Ruth.
Although Cobb is frequently cited as the greatest player of the dead-ball era, some contemporaries regarded Wagner as the better all-around player, and most baseball historians consider Wagner to be the greatest shortstop ever. Cobb himself called Wagner "maybe the greatest star ever to take the diamond." In addition, Wagner is the featured player of one of the rarest and most valuable baseball cards in the world.
The T206 Honus Wagner baseball card depicts the Pittsburgh Pirates' Honus Wagner, a dead-ball era baseball player who is widely considered to be one of the best players of all time. The card was designed and issued by the American Tobacco Company from 1909 to 1911 as part of its T206 series. Wagner refused to allow production of his baseball card to continue, either because he did not want children to buy cigarette packs to get his card, or because he wanted more compensation from the ATC. The ATC ended production of the Wagner card and a total of only 50 to 200 cards were ever distributed to the public (exact number unknown), as compared to the "tens or hundreds of thousands" of T206 cards, over three years in sixteen brands of cigarettes, for any other player. In 1933, the card was first listed at a price value of US$50 in Jefferson Burdick's The American Card Catalog, making it the most expensive baseball card in the world at the time.
There are fewer than 60 T206 authenticated Wagner cards in existence.

As a kid, these outfits were my preferred ones from this Getting There pack. But as an adult collector, I think the other ensembles are more memorable. However, these are almost as cool. As mentioned on the other photo, I always admired what the real girls wore in the Getting There movie. Some of the outfits were things I would have put on myself. Whereas, in their other films, the girls were super dressed up...not in anything I would have remotely felt comfortable in (I have always dressed more casually). I had pieces to these outfits for YEARS. I found parts of both their outfits on a Sweet 16 Mary-Kate circa 2012. Of course I totally thought I was buying a Getting There Mary-Kate. You can imagine my disappointment when I realized I was wrong...but that took like a year (I was not great at doll identification back then--it takes practice and patience). The only major downside to the Getting There pack is the fact that each gal only has one pair of shoes. Granted, these boots do match both looks flawlessly. But whenever given the option, I take extras. Their bags are so cool, that it sort of makes up for the one pair of shoes issue. It's hard to tell in these line photos (you can see it better on the individual shots of their outfits alone), but they are Mary-Kate and Ashley branded!!! It makes the dolls come off as vain sporting their own names on their accessories. But I personally loved how special the branding made their stuff feel as a kid. I would have used these purses ALL the time if I owned them when I was younger. They are big enough to fit a few things inside. I'm also very grateful that I was able to score a set of used dolls with some of their cardboard fixings...albeit pretty tattered ones. I played with my cardboard Winning London accessories more than the plastic ones as a kid. I'm sure I would have done the same with these Getting There ones (it looks like their previous owner had the same passion for them I would have). I always wanted to see the Getting There dolls with my childhood Mary-Kate and Ashley car...this photo did not disappoint!
