Saw 2 on Sunday during a guided walk which were a first this year. Never managed to get a shot , so was pleased to find this beauty posing for me today ! First time capture for me, so I'm pleased with the results!
DeSales loses to Worthing Kilbourne 4-2 on the road in their 1st loss of the season. The game was decided on 2 very bad PK calls given to the Wolves, while a penalty in the box for the Stallions was pulled outside of the box.

After another day of trudging thru snow and rain we have decided to set up camp 2 on Mount Shuksan. Although we did not cover that much distance today we have the oppuritunity to conduct a snow school and learn how to really use our crampons and ice axes. Coincidentally this would be as far was we made it on the mountain. To much snow to go any further.

This year, we dedicated 5 beautiful families: 3 on Howe Drive and 2 on Cherry Street. With a formal ceremony, Habitat for Humanity Waterloo Region presented these families their new homes. They all worked so hard to put in their 500 'sweat equity' hours, and in turn, hour by hour, these brave and dedicated families built their homes and conquered their journey and accomplished their DREAMS!
They have morphed from Partner Family to Homeowners. CONGRATULATIONS all of you.
