Here is our second "Ghost Portrait" themed photo shoot video. It started storming that day so all plans were off and we had to improv the moment, shooting what we could . Ashley was a trooper and stood out in the winds and rain without complaint. Although I wish we could have got a few more (wide)shots I'm glad I was able to put it together. It was a lot of fun and look forward to working more with Ashley in the future.

This year there as been a mass of yellow around the pond in our garden. What is unusual is that they have come into flower together - Daffodils, Primroses, Lesser Celandine and these Marsh Marigold flowers.
I am not in the habit of doing this but since I have now upgraded to a 5D MK 3 I am selling my Canon 5D MK 2 on eBay at the moment along with a Canon15mm fish eye and a Nikon 300mm F4 which I am selling for Vic. The Branch Line Society organised 'The Merseyrail Overground & Underground Explorer' a tour taking in the whole 75 route miles of the 750DC Merseyrail network, utilising BREL York 1979 built class 507 emu 507001 and class 508 emu 508134.
Taken at Hooton's platform 2 on the 'Wirral Line' 508134 faces Chester,as we wait for our booked time of 11.25, according to word on the tour 508134 was going to be retired that night after our tour.

For a 7-month-old, Jefferson is an absolute Knock-out !!
I have never known a kid remotely like him, at any age . . .
He plays beautifully with his two older cousins, Jenella, just-2,
on the left . . . and the diminutive Jazmin, 4 -- those two are almost the same size !!!
And as you can see, he plays to the camera, every time !!
As soon as I appear with my little HP-337, he makes a bee-line for me, and chuckles his head off !!
What a boy . . .

It is many years since I last paid Lincoln a visit. The old bus station was a dull, dark, miserable place whilst the new one is superb.
For taking photographs it is ideal. The buses do almost a full circle so virtually any angle you want can be captured.
The only bus that does not seem to go into the bus station is this.

One for a Leyland Mastiff one off a International C1200 Metro Van and one off a Fiat 80 NC. I have another one that is off a International C1800 truck but don't know where it is. I would like to use the Mastiff badge on my Mastiff but in Australia they were blue and had ''540 SERIES 2'' on them and this one is from the UK.
Whitinsville Christian 53, Keefe Tech 26: Broncos busted..By Frank Arena/Daily News staff.The MetroWest Daily News..WORCESTER —..The Keefe Tech boys basketball team has been relying on defense since losing top scorers, cousins Anthony and Brandon Morales. And the Broncos’ defense was on full display in the opening quarter of the Division 3 Central semifinals against defending Div. 3 state champion Whitinsville Christian at WPI’s Harrington Auditorium when they held the Crusaders to just six points...Unfortunately for Keefe Tech, its lack of offense and a second half full of turnovers proved to be the undoing of the Broncos in a 53-26 loss. Compounding the absence of the Morales cousins, was the loss of freshman Yunel Morales, who missed the game due to illness. That left too much responsibility in the hands of senior forward John Cancel, who couldn’t match Whitinsville Christian’s power all by himself. “We were missing our two leading scorers and our backup point guard,” said Keefe Tech head coach Paul Cavicchi. “It was a lot of pressure on John.”..Despite being shorthanded, Keefe Tech got off to a hot start, just as it did in its previous game against Bromfield. The Broncos outscored the Crusaders 5-0 over the first five minutes, with the defense holding Whitinsville Christian 0-for-8 from the field. But the Crusaders ended the quarter with a 6-0 run, then scored the first eight points of the second quarter to open up a 14-5 lead before Cancel (4 points) ended the run with 2:29 remaining in the half...Keefe Tech tried to quickly take the pressure off Cancel by getting the ball to senior Edwin Mieses (6 points, 15 rebounds), who hit two late shots in the second quarter to send the game to halftime with Whitinsville Christian ahead 18-12. Then the wheels fell off for Keefe Tech in the second half...“We played our defense I thought in the second half, but they doubled-teamed (Cancel) and took the ball away from him,” said Cavicchi. “Then we didn’t have anyone to take the ball down.”..Whitinsville Christian forced 11 second-half turnovers, the majority of them on steals. After four minutes of back-and-forth basketball, the Crusaders busted the game wide open, going on a 22-0 run spanning eight minutes. The offensive charge was led by junior guard Colin Richey, who finished with a game-high 11 points..The majority of the turnovers were forced by Whitinsville Christian’s full-court press, which was something Keefe Tech did not expect...“We haven’t done that all year,” said Whitinsville Christian coach Jeffrey Bajema. “We had to try something to get some energy for us.”..The press frustrated the Broncos and expunged any offensive rhythm they might have had..“At that point offense became so frustrating to them they could not even get into the right position,” said Cavicchi...The Crusaders continued to pour it on in the fourth. Senior guard Connor Dolan (8 points) started hitting jumpers, and senior center Jesse Dykstra (8 points) started hitting tough shots in the paint..While a victory was what Keefe Tech was looking for, or even just a closer outcome than last year’s 87-38 thrashing, the team did have an opportunity to get some younger players time as the clock wound down...“We got to get some kids out there on the court and get them to feel good about playing some varsity,” said Cavicchi. “We’re graduating 11 kids this year, 11 great kids.”...Read more: www.metrowestdailynews.com/editorspick_mobile/x1014037833...

A narrow single-lane underpass carries road traffic under Track 2 on the Union Pacific's Roseville Subdivision. This stretch of Applegate Road was originally part of the Lincoln Highway which was constructed in the 1920's, about the same time the Southern Pacific added the second track on the west side of the Donner Pass line.
