1. My hand, water, camera
2. I took this photo of my hand in water while the sink was on
3. This photo was edited in black and white to fit the theme of this week and the skin color of my hand contrast with the dark faucet in the background and the water bubbles are very visible.
This photo satisfies requirement 2. I set shutter speed very slow (1/8) to allow movement of the pictures, and thus motion blur of cars moving at around 10-20MPH. Because it was around 8pm, I set ISO a bit higher at 1600 to accommodate for the lack of natural light outside. Aperture was also set to its lowest f/3.5 to increase irradiance. I waited out for vehicles to come through my field of view and before they came, anticipated the object and click the shutter so that the object would compose nicely in the frame.
Opa's certificate of naturalization, 31 October 1938. 2 of 2. I guess only the children born in Russia are listed because the others could have already been citizens by being born on Canadian soil?

I laid in bed till 2. I was going through a severe depression. Tom called me up, made me go to the gym. I photographed a beautiful sunset, but the land part didn't work. Decorated the tree tonight. It's only up to honor my mother, I could care less for these things. Today was good overall, but very emotional. I like the way this photo came out, I feel like it captured the day all around.
I feel so trapped
by everything
I have so much stress
so much drama
so many feelings
I feel like im losing more each day
There's so much,
I'm starting to not even feel it
I'm becoming numb
and I don't care
I've been broken too much
Maybe being numb with be better
Im thinking about solving this
I know how I can feel again
Ive thought about it alot
and im still not sure
I just want to feel something
But I know alot people say its the wrong way to feel
but I honestly dont care
thoughts please?

Day 34, Year 2
I had a couple of meetings at work today but got a fair bit of work done before going to my first Design Institute of Australia, Queensland Chapter Council meeting for a long time. I was on chapter council in the later Eighties or early Nineties (can't remember the years) and the institute seems to have become a lot more vital and professional in recent years.
I wasn't expecting the duration of the meeting though. It started at about 6:30 and finished at 10:00! There was a lot of stuff on the agenda so I wouldn't say it was all hot air but it could have been run much tighter.
I asked the president later if 3 or 4 hour meetings were the norm. She said they're usually longer. Oh. My. God. I don't think I really want to spend much more of my life in long meetings so I'm not sure I'll have the energy to attend many of these things. It really made me reconsider my involvement.
Still horrible Chromatic Aberration! Is there really not a way to avoid this with Nikkor primes? The Photoshop CS5 lens tool doesn't do jack with CA slider )-:
Check out the purple fringes around the whiskers. Nikkor 35mm f/1.8.
I don't see CA in other photos with Nikkors, so am I doing something wrong?
Christmas at the Biltmore - Asheville NC - Deccember 22 2009 - Day 2
I wish I could show you the INSIDE, but I saw a man get his media card taken away by security guards when he took a picture of his child in a stroller in the lobby. They are VERY strict about photos, cell phones, videos, etc., in the inside of the house

My older niece testing her ELF make ups that we ordered. She loved the concealer and the mascara.
Day 2 – I keep an eye on the weather in the past few days and today is probably the best day to visit Takaosan (高尾山). Takaosan is one of the most popular spots to see the autumn foliage. I took the JR from Tokyo station and transfer to a Keio train to Takaosanguchi Station. The trip is simple and take about an hour and a half. Once arrived, there were tons of people already lining up for the cable car with the steepest incline (up to 30 degrees) in Japan. There are multiple trails to reach the summit, but No. 1 trail seems to be the most popular and easiest.
