"Hello, Igglepiggle!"

-The narrator, pushbutton sound and second SFX

Filmed and sighted at Victoria Shopping Centre in Southend-on-Sea.

Released by Jolly Roger in an unknown year under license from Ragdoll Productions for BBC. This unit is distributed by Photo-Me.

NOTE 1: The V2 has the opening theme and different SFX (including the attract mode as one of its SFX!) In fact, this is the only V2 of this ride that I have ever seen in my entire life!

NOTE 2: I may hate In the Night Garden... and the V1 of the kiddie ride, but I don't care much for the V2 because it's not so common.

What I have on the way:

Blue size 8 (1)

Yellow size 10-10.5 (1)

Red/black size 10-10.5 (1)

Grey/ yellow size 9-9.5 (2)

I can order more if wanted

1- I have to say, I really like the first of the new Star Trek movies. It's a fresh take on the franchise.

2- I'm looking forward to the newest movie this summer. *fingers crossed* I hope it has the same type of excitement that the first one had.

3- I tend to watch foreign movies late at night. It's a guilty pleasure.

4- I used to dream I could grow long fingernails so I could paint them. Now I can't keep my nails short enough and nail polish is a hassle.

5- I still like to have painted toenails though. Especially in summertime. They are currently bright red.

6- I can almost never dress correctly for NYC. I'm either too cold or too hot or my feet hurt. I now have one pair of shoes that totally rock for pounding the pavement in the city and won't wear any other shoes in the city now if I know I'm going to be walking all day. I am a function over fashion type person in all things.

7- I'm currently listening to The Logical Song by Supertramp....

8- ...also listening to The Lumineers - Ho Hey...

9- ....and Amos Lee - Colors.

10- I have extremely varied tastes in music and don't give a crap what others think about my musical interests. You like what you like and that's that. Music snobs piss me off anyway.

11- I keep dreaming about kittens. Does this mean I want a kitten or is it because I keep seeing cat videos on FB? I think both.

12- I want to go up in Hot Air Balloon. I think they are amazing.

13- The 1940 version of Gaslight is the best. Anton Walbrook is such a fabulous villain.

Bonus - I love rosemary and I'm currently craving garlic mashed potatoes topped with crushed rosemary. Mmm... yum!

When Aubrey told me that I was going to be using the megaphone that had been siting in the kitchen office for several months as my next prop I had several ideas, this wasn't one of them. Actually, the only reason I shot this photo was because I looked outside and saw the sunset and decided I wanted to take a photo of it for the 365 but had to incorporate the megaphone somehow. I thought it'd be rather easy but it was quite windy out and getting a composition amongst the poles on the roof was not as simple as I thought.

The few things I learned with this photo:

1) I am not ready to sacrifice any of my gear for a photo. I nearly crapped my pants as a big gust of wind came through and shook both of my lightstands, nearly knocking them over and possibly dropping my speedlights the four stories down to the ground while I was trying to set this up.

2) I have officially jumped onto the cliche strobist photo train. I don't know, I really love it when people shoot these outdoor strobist photos but I just don't care much for the end result of this one. A ton of things I'd change about this one after viewing it on the computer.

3) Even on a rooftop I can't help but draw attention of people wondering what the hell this crazy white guy is doing. I have to love people here though because when they stare, they stare. When I was setting up for the shot one of them asked me if I was a sniper. How do you respond to something like that?

Ahhh, ten facts about Carson with the horrible pictures. XD

1. 99% of my time is spent figuring ways to hide my feelings.

2. I'm from Nashville,GA.

3. I play base,guitar.

4. Showing dogs is my life. I also show horses.

5.Maddie is everything and more to me.

6. Not a whole lot bothers me in the terms of drama, but i can be a very vindictive person.

7. I tend to be on the different side. I call it originality.

8. What i love was taken away from me, and i have a very hard time getting attached.

9. I have multiple bad habits, but i dont regret any of them. I learn.

10. Music and photography are my addictions.

Heres another shot of "Dobby" our house guest whilst his family are away. A lovely little dog.

Since getting the Xpr0 2, I am really enjoying the 18-55mm again. The Pro2 just seems to get the very most out of this lens, the forgiving ISO really helps, but for me there is just something that really works with this lens. It just sits nicely on the Pro 2 and it certainly taking up more time than any other lens I have at the moment.

This is the jpeg from camera, shot Classic Chrome, moved into Lightroom CC, cropped slightly, and that is it.

i actually edited this differently than i wanted. i wanted the colors to be bright but i ended up going for a vintage feel(:

VWS2728 © Vee W Selburn 2012: In memory of the unique Colin Pillinger, Planetary Scientist at the Open University who died today. He is remembered with great affection and respect by colleagues all over the university. I took this photo just after his lecture on meteorites on 2 March 2012 which I had the pleasure to attend. Although he was a prominent contributor to many projects he is best remembered for his attempt to land a space craft on Mars. The space craft Beagle 2 failed to respond after leaving its host the Mars Express intending to land on the surface of Mars on Christmas Day 2003. Update 16 January 2015: The Beagle 2 has been confirmed to have landed on Mars by an orbiting satellite whose high resolution camera spotted it on the surface.

making this picture was way out of my comfort zone because :

1. i am very, very hungry.

2. i trained with the walk team last night. don't diss the walkers and the walk team. those mofos messed my shit up. i hurt from my head to my toes.

3. i am afraid of heights.

4. i had to stand on a table stand that is 2 feet off the ground. that is a height when you are 4"11', mkay?

5. i had to balance while standing leaning over the ledge that is open to the downstairs of our house, thus intensifying the whole height, fear of dying, i have no balance business.

6. this was shot at f/8, i think.

7. #6 made me the most uncomfortable i think ;)

At time of publishing, this is one of 5 vehicles within the First South Yorkshire fleet to gain heritage livery.

Doncaster's 37230, YN08LCK, carrying fleet number 1230 can be seen smartly wearing the Doncaster Transport livery while operating in Doncaster Centre on service 15.

All the vehicles that have gained a heritage livery have been finished to an excellent standard and also retrimmed or refurbished inside.

Fleet No. - 37230

Reg. No. - YN08 LCK

Chassis - Volvo B9TL

Bodywork - Wrightbus Eclipse Gemini

Seating - H45/20F

Taken - 12/01/2015

Please Note:

2 - I always try to include some information about the bus or the route in picture to the descriptions, however sometimes information may be listed incorrectly, if so I would be grateful if you could let me know what amendments need to be made.

My search-fu must've sucked because I couldn't find a good size comparison of these two lenses. So, here it is.

Left is the Canon FD 55mm 1.2 S.S.C.

Right is the Canon FD 50mm 1.2

I bought the 55mm for my E-P1 but found it to be way too huge for the camera. The 50mm, on the other hand, fits nicely.

These old FD lenses look flat out amazing on Micro 4/3. The crop is 2x, so the 55mm becomes a godly portrait lens. See below:

I was a big fan of enigma musics during my college days ..I still like those musics but nowadays i don't play them usually ..I somehow end up associating musics with moments and people ...I at least have one song for almost all persons I care or ever cared for...

I have been tagged by Girlkoi, Gemini Angel Art and lÓuÓs :)

Thanks for thinking of me!

So here are they, 16 things about me

1- Though i've always thought i lived in a great place and did not want to live anywhere else, i ended moving to far far away places....twice. Both for love.

2- I am the oldest of 5. I have one sister and three brothers. The youngest of us, in the pic, died 3 months after that picture was taken. I miss him every day.

3- When he came to visit me in holland it was march and promised he would come back in september. He died in june and in september i got pregnant with my son, unexpectedly and being on the pill ( i NEVER forget my pill). I got pregnant on my brothers B-day....that i know ; )

4- I believe there's more than what our eyes can see, as you now can imagine....

5- Organization is something very difficult for me to achieve, i tend to the chaos and it doesn't make me very happy.

6- I usually go to bed VERY late. And now that i have a little son that means i sleep very little...

7- I am a terribly avid reader. Can't put my books down.

8- I love visiting my parents, brothers and sis, and the huge family reunions. We are all very close and there is a lot of love there.

9- I wanted to be a boy when i was very young (4 to 6 more or less) cause i thought the boys had all the fun and girls sat around doing nothing, like in the books "the five" of Enid Blython...Anna was so scared all the time! ugh....

10- I love candy. All kinds of sweet things, actually.

11- I normally don't wear any jewlery, feels funny...but i never take off my pandora bracelet. Every charm means something special to me. I can't wear any nail paint either cause it feeels too funny, uncomfortable on my nails.

12- I love my dolls and got into customizing totally without planning it. But i love it, keeps my creativity running.

13- I am a former high school teacher, i teach art, drawing, that kind of stuff. I stopped to go to Holland and now that i am back at home in Spain, i plan on going back to teaching.

14- Can't stand the noise people do if they eat with an open mouth...EWWWWW

15- I like the smell of burning wood. A LOT.

16- Happiness makes me cry. And many times, seeing my boy really happy, discovering life, brings tears to my eyes. No matter where we are

:)

At most events, I seem to stumble on folks using cellphones that contradicts their character (Nightcrawler) or is an anachronism (a Spartan soldier).

This year, I met a wonderful "Professor McGonagall" cosplayer from the Harry Potter books and movies and I asked her to pose her wand at her cellphone as 1) it was funny and 2) I could see the good Professor doing this to try to get an app to work on her phone... if someone would have handed her one. :-D

Driving down Unter Goldschmeid in central Cologne was this Honda CR-V from the United Kingdom. The car was originally registered to the medieval cathedral city of Norwich, located in eastern England. The car was originally purchased at a Honda dealership in Norwich itself, and is currently on its third owner.

Once the front-line appliance from Mexborough, YR52ODN now takes up a new role in the reserve fleet, standing in for other fire appliances when required. It is seen here in Doncaster Town Centre understood to be working Doncaster2 substituting for Doncaster6-the Combined Aerial Rescue Pump.

The fleet use to house 18 of these Mercedes-Benz Ategos, however 5 have returned off-lease in 2011 and the 52 registered ones are almost at the end of their lives with South Yorkshire Fire & Rescue.

The Mercedes-Benz appliances have been replaced by newer and more technological Scania pumps with Emergency One bodywork.

This is for my Uni assignment about taking two photos of the same model (the lovely Alice!) but in different styles or locations to create almost different personalities. I tried to fit it in with my recent set as I might as well, so this is really the image with the hint of a more sinister back story, but make of it what you like.

Facebook/Twitter/Website

I am required to post a "self-portrait" and list 16 things about myself then tag 16 other people.

First of all...thank you to my friend, georgewashington42 for "Tagging" me in Flickr's newest game.

16 Things About Myself

1.I was rescued from a burning car in 1989 by two strangers. This is one reason why I use a phoenix avatar on Flickr, though actually I was using that nickname before the fire.

2.I plan to sign up to take a workshop on Acrylic Abstract in February, looking to expand my horizons by painting.

3.My favorite colors are purple, blue, and green.

4.I absolutely LOVE winter! Bring on the SNOW !!! :-)

5.On a personality test to determine which Lord of the Rings character I most resemble, I come out as Gandalf the Grey.

6.Similarly, if I were a horse, I would be an Arabian. Fiercely independent, intelligent, playful, a loyal friend.

7.Forrest Gump and I have much in common. Ping pong, distance running, unusual adventurous coincidences out of the blue clear sky …

8.When I bought my first digital camera, I was too scared to even take it out of the box for three whole months.

9.Horses, cats, and birds are very special to me.

10.I love Ohio, especially Amish Country, the Hocking Hills, and Kelleys Island.

11.I used to march as a bell player in a drum & bugle corps sponsored by a firehouse. Being in parades and at fairs was tons of fun.

12.I vastly prefer staying at a Bed & Breakfast out in the country while I’m on vacation … with no television.

13.I once won the jackpot at Bingo under a full moon on a Friday the 13th.

14.As you can see from my portrait, I enjoy Photoshop. :-)

15.One of my best homemade gourmet dishes is shrimp and scallops cooked in rosé wine with butter and lime juice, served with rice.

16.Flickr with its awesome community has been both inspirational to me as a photographer and enriching to my personal life.

This is a repost. I wanted to post it again as I lost my Sweet baby this week. She was only 2. I hand fed her from the age of 6 weeks...weaned her. She was a wonderful bird. She played like a puppy.

I had to get her from the ex this week. She had no toys in her cage....she had been closed up in the house with his smoking and was not in good shape. Storm did not recognize me. She fought me coming out of her cage. I finally got her out after 20 minutes and lost my hold on her. She flew into a ceiling fan and her neck was broken.. She did not suffer...Maybe it was for the best....I miss her....My heart is broken! Things connected to me seem to be destroyed.

I had the flu over the weekend...Storm took care of me....She was so sweet...and we got to spend a lot of time together!

This is the second of 2 photos taken back on Sunday, 07 April A.D. 2013, while I was strolling through my backyard garden of my former San Francisco apartment. The first photo was previously uploaded to my Flickr photostream, about 2 years prior to this. The 2 photos are very similar, but this one was taken closer to the camera than the first one, and my pose was a wee bit different.

I love the sight of the pink jasmine in the background, growing on my fence. The fragrance at night could almost be overwhelming!

A mosaic of our satellite on the morning of 2022-09-18 around 4 a.m. 122 tiles acquired with a usually fast camera, attached to a 500mm f/8 scope and equipped here with a red filter.

As said, the camera I used is usually fast, just not this time. For some reason, most likely the icy temperature, the camera's rate was limited to USB 2. I had to adapt the acquisition at last moment. The compromise consisted in pushing the exposure time to 20 milliseconds, working at 8-bit dynamics and recording only 400 frames per video.

Regarding the processing, I converted each video into a tile by selecting the best 80 frames. Each tile was deconvolved with the Wiener algorithm, the PSF being semi-empirical. After assembling the mosaic, some correction and tuning were required: tonecurve adjustment, stitch fixing, halo removal along the limb and assignment of a slight yellowish hue to the originally grayscale image.

If you have a look at full size, you'll probably notice some defects, but this is all I could come to without excessive work :)

A word about hardware and software: ASI290 MM camera, Astrosib 500mm telescope, stacking with AutoStakkert! 3, PSF evaluation, noise estimation and deconvolution with Python (NumPy & SciPy), assembling with Hugin, and final processing with Photoshop.

Finally, a few numbers: the Moon covers 12388 pixels pole to pole, thus a projected resolution of 280m per pixel.

UN-DS Photo Session 1 of 2

I've had these Nike iDs since February just waiting for the warm weather to start. Thought it was nice enough to wear them today for some captures at Washington Square Park, New York. I choose to do a similar image to my AM1 Curry from last weekend.

This is one of the images that I wish came out sharper in the shoe area. I messed up the settings on my cam when setting up for this shot. The problem is, my screen is almost gone, so I can barely see what the image looks like when I take it. I'm basically just shooting away with no real idea how the capture looks. It's only until it's put into iPhoto at home, that I can see the results. It really sucks, but hopefully my cam will be replaced soon.

I've been tagged by Uncle Jago, so here goes.....

1. I have read 'Goodnight Mr Tom' by Michelle Magorian at least 20 times and cried nearly every time! I've often wondered whether there's an element of fate happening...?

2. I love cooking and I spend more money on food than pretty much anyone I know. I particularly like baking cakes and puddings but Mr Tom thinks my best dish is Steak and Ale Pie.

3. When I was little we never really watched films, so I've been making up for lost time in the last 5 years!

4. I play the violin (occasionally...!) and absolutely love singing. I was a choir girl until I was 18 but haven't really done much since, I miss it!

5. Contrary to popular belief, I am not a tax collector.

6. I love most fruit, particularly mangoes, but can't stand bananas - bleaaaahhhh.

7. Despite liking lemon, meringue and pie, I have, since childhood, had a phobia of lemon meringue pie.

8. I love shoes.

9. I'm not very good at saving money. Actually, I am terrible at saving money. My mum always used to say it burns a hole in my pocket :-)

10. I know (almost) all the words to 'Life of Brian' and 'Holy Grail'. Although I always like to watch the Monty Python films with my sister, she cracks me up!

11. I drive Mr Tom mad by picking stuff up with my feet and licking my fingers when turning pages. I can't help it.

12. I can touch my head with my feet (and actually get my feet behind my head - eek).

13. I miss London. Really really miss London.

14. In the last five years, I have reduced considerably in size. I have also discovered a love of walking. Coming from the only person ever to refuse running the mini-marathon at school, this is a rather major achievement!

15. I have an MSc in Chemistry but I am truly diabolical at geography. I could really do with a world map.

16. I love Mr Tom, Mr Fox and Mrs PB the mostest - but you already knew that ;-)

TAG YOUR IT.

A full container vessel operated by the Evergreen Line sails under the Golden Gate Bridge, near Fort Point, in San Francisco Bay, California. Evergreen operates the fourth largest container fleet in the world with over 150 ships.

This particular vessel is the "Ever Develop". There are two 'Develop's' in the Evergreen fleet, 'Develop 1' and 'Develop 2'. I could not determine which of the two is pictured in this photo. This is a Panamanian-flagged vessel launched in 1998 with a maximum TEU capacity of 4211 tons. The ship was built by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Ltd. in Shimonoseki, Japan and can carry up to 476 reefer containers.

Fort Point, at the bottom-right of this photograph, is located on the southern side of the Golden Gate at the entrance to San Francisco Bay. It was built just prior to the Civil War by the US Army Corps of Engineers in order to protect and defend the Bay against hostile warships. Today, it is a National Historic Site administered by the National Park Service.

If you look closely, you can just make out the diminutive 'Fort Point Lighthouse' on the roof of Fort Point. This is actually the third lighthouse to stand at this location. The first was built in 1853 and torn down a year later to make room for the fort. The second was built on a narrow ledge between the fort and the water in 1855 but strong tidal currents eventually undermined the shore and the lighthouse had to be removed. The tower was replaced with the third and final light placed in its present position atop the fort.

Bronze (joined lost-wax castings)

Late 5th-early 4th c. BCE

Probably made by a workshop at Velzna/Volsinii (Orvieto)

Found at Todi (ancient Tuder; see on Pleiades), loc. Monte Santo (today Montesanto), site of a Franciscan convent, in 1835, buried beneath travertine slabs

H 1.41 m

The figure, a warrior (not necessarily to identify as the god Mars), wears a tunic and cuirass and once held a patera in the right hand and a spear in the left (the patera and remains of the spear were found together with the statue). The figure's helmet was not found.

One of the pteryges of the lamellar cuirass bears an inscription in Umbrian alphabet and language (Imagines Italicae Umbria / TVDER 2; ST Um 16; Ve 230):

ahal trutitis dunum dede

The exact name of the donor is uncertain (Ahal Trutitis? Ah. Al. Trutitis? Aha. l. Trutitis?); whoever it was "gave (this) as a gift." Trutitis has often been compared to names of Celtic origin, while ImIt compare it to the Italic for quartus.

+1 in comments (it has a better flare!)

So, some new things:

1) I dislike flickr sharpening more than ever before.

2) I just found out iphoto has editing capabilities - very helpful.

3) I'm back from my vacation! Which means that I shall try to catch up on your streams at the next available opportunity and which also means that I have some pictures to upload. :)

Should I make the one in the comments the main one?

Just catching up with recent bus changes whilst in the Ealing since Metroline gained the E1 from RATP using these wonderful B9 Gemini 2, I'm not sure if this is a voith one?

Multiple exposure number 2. I've been playing 😃

A Mom and her 3 teenage children. This was such a fun family to take pictures with, they were all happy, easy going, and most of all, they all really liked each other.

Not an easy time of the year to find a great location though, still very brown outside, but I thought this dock worked well with the families choice of colors. I was initially disappointed with the gray sky, but it also works well with the color choice.

This was a simple 2 flash setup:

f5.6

1/250

ISO 100

Both flashes (canon 430ex) were set up almost directly to either side of me, I exposed for the sky, and shot this in ettl, triggered by a STE-2.

I feel like we sometimes get so worried about how we are using lights, what settings, etc, we lose focus on the real subject, the people right in front of us. Sometimes, simpler is better.

Also, I shot this with a Sigma 30mm 1.4, I have had incredible results with this lens, super impressed.

1. Now someone is MOC'ing me taking part in a fad.

2. I'm even sillier as a minifig in a Keffiyeh.

3. I get really ambitious about various projects such as kicking MoJo's butt for this travesty. I will follow through on that.

4. I go through intense periods of interest. Right now I'm totally focused on getting on a plane and finding MoJo. I'll probably have to take this Keffiyeh off first though.

5. Exacting revenge on MoJo is my only reason for being at this time. That and chocolate.

6. I love everyone, except the guy who made this MOC. Stroke my Keffiyeh!

7. I'm chaotic Swedish evil. Lawfully, I have diabolic plans laid. Roll my dice baby!

8. I like all music, but will be listening to some really evil stuff when I take MoJo to my filthy murder shack.

9. I like dressing up. I will need a suit when I stand trial for the death of MoJo. I hope they let me wear my Keffiyeh.

10. Normally, I'm pretty weird. No wait, that's you!

10. My mother's cooking will always be a hundred times better than mine. Amen.

11. No matter how many times I clean my car, my neighbour’s cats will always find a way to make it dirty.

12. I’m easy to please, and the simplest pleasures are always the best! :D

13. Traffic jams make me an impatient driver. Haha, thank goodness for music.

14. The quality of my penmanship decreases as the time my professor speaks increases. They’re inversely correlated.

15. I have tendency to (accidently) fall asleep on people’s shoulders’ when I’m

travelling. It’s a bad habit with strangers, lol.

16. I’m the best secret keeper ever!

17. Lazy Sunday afternoons are my favourite. I like to spend them lounging around.

Happy rest of the week! Catching up slowly~~

Fantasyland, King Arthur Carrousel. Mary Poppins and Bert on the ride, moving past my spot in the wait line, photo #2 of 2.

I visited Disneyland on Sunday, July 2, 2017. It was seasonably warm (80 F) with a light crowd.

I bought a new booster pin set consisting of 6 hot sauces based on Disney characters ($29.99). I also got a Disney Store Animators' Collection ceramic mug with drawings of Jasmine, Belle and Cinderella ($15.99). I don't recall seeing this mug in actual Disney Stores yet. I also saw some Disney Store Princess medium plush dolls, that I haven't seen before (either in Disneyland or Disney Stores). They were Aurora, Belle, mermaid Ariel and Mulan ($24.99). They were all very pretty. It is surprising that they were selling Mulan, since there is almost never any Mulan merchandise sold in Disneyland.

Most of the rides had short lines. I got a good score at Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters, but it wasn't recorded. I also rode on Indiana Jones, Pirates of the Caribbean and Haunted Mansion. I took a photo of the Redhead, and also of a pirate fortune teller in a machine near the exit to the ride.

Then I went on some of my favorite rides in Fantasyland. Alice in Wonderland had a posted 30 minute wait time, but I got on the ride in only 15 minutes. I got on the King Arthur Carrousel, just after Mary Poppins, Bert and the Pearly Band were on it. I got some decent photos of Mary and Bert on the ride. I rode the Snow White's Scary Adventures, and got a better photo of the end of the ride mural than last time.

I did lunch at the Red Rose Taverne, as I did last week. I ordered Slow-Cooked Beef Poutine, Gaston's Famous Brew in souvenir mug and Grey Stuff Gateau. Gaston's Brew was Apple Mango punch with Passion Fruit foam. The Grey Stuff frosting tasted like whipped cream to me, although the menu said it was white chocolate mousse. I took more photos of the decor of the restaurant than last time. I was pleasantly surprised to discover a trio of stained glass decorations, including the one from the ending scene of the original animated film.

c1910 view of the Spring Lake Park interurban station. The station was located along the Old National Road (US 40 today) between Greenfield and Indianapolis. This image was produced from a photograph rather than a postcard and a label was added to the image. The cemetery in the background in this scene is still located south of US 40 and east of Sugar Creek. Smith-Johnson Ditch ran along the south side of the road in this area toward Sugar Creek. That ditch may explain why the station is elevated between the two tracks. The photographer was standing on the south edge of the road and looking east-southeast.

The nearest sign in the shelter informed visitors to SEE THAT YOUR TICKETS ARE STAMPED AT SPRING LAKE PARK _______ THE CAR. The other sign is unclear. The privately owned park was located about half a mile south of this station. Spring Lake is a residential community today.

Trolley car number 30 was in front of the station and car number 45 was behind the station. The name GREENFIELD was printed in large letters on the side of car 45, and the name above the windows appears to include the word RAPID. It is highly likely these cars belonged to the Indianapolis & Greenfield Rapid Transit Company. That company was incorporated in 1899 and operated seven passenger and express cars and a work car on 17 miles of track east of Irvington.¹ A 1903 financial securities publication included the following information about the first phase of interurban railway consolidation between Indianapolis and Richmond.

“Indianapolis & Eastern Railway.—Incorporated under laws in 1902 as a consolidation of the Indianapolis & Greenfield Rapid Transit and the Indianapolis & Eastern Traction Co. Operates about 30 miles of track extending from Knightstown to Irvington, where it connects with the Indianapolis Street Railway, over whose tracks it operates into Indianapolis under a 31 year contract. An extension is being built to Dublin, Ind.”²

The Dublin extension became operational in 1905 and was the final interurban link between Indianapolis and Dayton, Ohio. The R. S. & I. (Richmond Street & Interurban) Railway Co. had already extended their line west to Dublin, and that 16-mile line connected with the Dayton & Western Traction Company system that operated between Richmond and Dayton, Ohio (40 miles). The following report was published in January 1905.

“The remarkable extent to which construction and connection of electric railways in central Indiana and Ohio has been accomplished is well illustrated by an article in the Street Railway Journal, recording a trip of Indiana managers of electric roads, taken recently under the auspices of the Ohio Interurban Railway Association. The tour as made by the official party in special cars, starting from Indianapolis, covered a total of 781 miles, over which the actual running time was about 27 hours, giving an average speed of 27.96 miles per hour for the entire trip.³

That trip took the group east from Indianapolis, through Dublin and Richmond to Ohio and brought them back to Indianapolis via that same route after visiting several Ohio cities.

Then, in 1907, the T. H. I. & E. (Terre Haute, Indianapolis & Eastern) Traction Company was formed via the consolidation of the I. & E., the R. S. & I. and several other central Indiana interurban companies. The T. H. I & E. ultimately operated one of the largest interurban systems in Indiana.

I think this is the first time I've actually used my SMC Pentax-A 50mm f1.2 lens on a film camera (a pentax Super A to be precise)... shocking I know! For most of these shots the lens was set at or near f1.2... I like the combination of beautiful leaves, insane amounts of bokeh and Kodak Portra colours :-)
