This was the "Royal Scotsman" working after arrival from an overnight stop at Aviemore . I had noted this locomotive stabled out the front of the Strathspey Railway shed building at Aviemore the previous evening when I passed North with 1W96.
Apologies to the British diesel purists as this is the first image I've shared of a stand alone class 66 here.

Un 9 de Junio de 1989 nací, y ya hoy tengo 19 años, como pasa la vida? y no nos damos ni cuenta, aunque debo admitirque mi vida ha sido bastante buena, con altos y bajos algunos más tristes otros más alegres pero en fín.. Buena. Soy algo alta, pero solo algo me hubiera gustado ser más alta, de contextura delgada, tengo ojos café pero me gustan, siempre he tenido la convicción que los ojos tienen algo especial en cada persona que los hace único. Uso lentes (: y me gustan *-* aunque por un tiempo los odié, pero sin ellos no soy yo. Suelo ser bastante taimada, pero dura poco pero si me enojo, en verdad es mejor ni acercarse a mi, porque soy muy alterada y llevada a mis ideas en esas ocaciones ¬¬. Tengo un afán por peliar con la gente que me gusta, aún no entiendo porqué. No soy muy tierna, me cuesta pero las cosas que digo son del corazón, Después de los garbanzos lo que más odio es la mentira y la hipocresia en las personas, quizás por eso no suelo mentir. Un poco loca, como todos, no? aunque a veces soy muy loca :B, suelo inventar términos estúpidos :| y poner caras weonas a mis amigos xD, me gusta reirme aunque tenga una risa toda tonta y nerd pero es única (: Una buena amiga, siempre trato de estar para mis amigos y ayudarlos de cualquier forma y soy una agradecida de tener las amigas que tengo!. Amo mirarme al espejo, verme bieeen y asi sentirme bien conmigo, mi mamá siempre rescata eso de mí, quizás porque también le gustaría ser así. Detesto el desorden :| y me encanta mirar las nubes. Soñadora, por las calles siempre ando inventando cosas, escibiendo en mi mente, me gusta pensar. A veces por las calles me rio sola, pongo caras Ja!. Llorona, siempre que me siento agobiada lloro para desahogarme y seguir adelante, aunque muy pocas de esas veces me ven mis amigas, y es que detesto entristecer a las personas con mis problemas, a vecees muy estúpidos. Soy autocriticadora, me gusta la perfección, y si me propongo algo tengo que hacerlo!, no creo en que el fin justifica los medios, debo admitir que hacerle daño a las personas no va conmigo, hasta decirle una mala palabra me cuesta, quizás por eso no siento odio ni rencor por nadie, a pesar que motivos hallan. Como dice mi hermana, tengo corazón de abuelita, estaré siempre ahi aunque me hagan lo más feo, doy sin importar recibir. Tengo dos hermanas, la mayor ha sido muchas veces mi modelo a seguir, y otra más chica que amo con mi vida entera, que es mi complemento! (L). Nunca me he enamorado, creo. Y siento que las promesas son solo un mal necesario. Amo las pastas sobretodo la lazaña y los fideos ñami!, me gusta comer helados sobretodo si es acompañada. Soy muy miedosa y cuando pequeña tenía que ir a dormir con mis papis u.u pero se ha ido quitando. Me fascinan las peli de miedo, me gusta sentir esa sensación. Soy tolerante y suelo respetar mucho a las personas, me gusta la diversidad y me fascina saber más. Me gusta leer, por mí tener una gran bibilioteca para leer toditos los días. Me gusta el futbol y cuando iba en 8vo jugaba mucho :B, soy colocolina (L). Estudiante de Arquitectura. me gusta el arte y la fotografía. Mi sueño es aprender hacer graffittis. o como se escriba. Soy fuerte, nunca tanto como mi mami y mi abuela que las admiro!, pero las caídas y los tropiezos me han hecho así. Me encanta observar a la gente como se comporta, que los diferencia y cosas así. Me encantan los besos y los abrazos y sobretodo que me den la mano y sentirme muy protegida, pero no suelo ser una persona que le gustar estar con alguién, soy demasiado precavida, a veces demasiado ¬¬. Pero si me gusta alguién , solo esa persona es importante, soy fieel cuando quiero de verdad onda "no hagas lo que no te gustaría que te hicieran". Soy tímida, a veces. Muy nerd a veces, cabrachica para muchas cosas ¬¬ y madura para otras xD y me fascina vivir alegremente mi vida (:

Another from the "Puzzling Abandonment" in SE Colorado. This was pretty close to US Highway 50, so I was frequently scrambling to hide my nakedness during this shoot. A small price to pay for my "art." :-)
Incidentally, the "19" of the title obviously refers to my age, not the number above my head.

Part 2/3 of my shoot with Xenia Ortiz. We made this part on the beach and relaxed and just enjoy the good day in Cancun.

I could not shoot this week's image without my better half. She has put up with me for 23+ years now and on December 5th it will be 19 years as my wife! Can you believe it??? Seems like only yesterday we first met…

The word 'paint' contains the word 'pain', and lately RB 18 and 19 have been a right pain in the, err, Dart. Even after several coats of white and green, the old livery was still visible through! After a long wait, 19 finally got finished, but as it was supposed to enter service a long time ago I thought it would be too much time to waste making the graphics too, so as a compromise it's just entered service like this and the graphics will be done in due course. Also, I don't yet have a square number plate for the rear so there's a rectangular one slapped on to the engine door with a little light above it so it is lit at night. Eventually I will get round to getting proper number plates, graphics and fleet numbers.
