It is also absent from Tasmania in the south, where it is replaced by Lepidurus apus. Had a short evening trip to Mt. Wallberg in Pforzheim, where I experimented with strong foreground elements in vertical landscape shots. A typical example for a foreground which doesn't look that spectacular on location, but really helps to catch the eye on the photograph.
