So today i wanted to do what i have done yesterday, but in a Light and colorful pastel setting (since that's my Signature stuff). I think it worked out ok might be to Neon. not sure yet. Just when i was about to set up with my tripod , this guy came out of no where.
had to click right away .. the original shot was a little underexposed for something off the fly , but it's a good thing i was able to recover it on PS RAW, so here's the end result.

Another attempt at converting a dusk shot to a night shot.
HSS everyone. PP info: I started with a base image from my churches set, was the 16bit tiff image without the faux sunburst. Took the exposure down, highlights up. Toned with a cyan tint, expanded the tree on the left and cloned more of the setting sun highlight out. Added the moon in from another image. Dodged areas I thought would get hit by moonlight. Added the mist. Tweaked curve and levels.

Every time I return from a trip I need to get out and shoot a sunset or something, as us locals know we have 100's of great locations here in South East Queensland. So here is a test shot with an idea I've been working on.

- Unsharp mask in Photoshop 6.0 (200%).

The last one of the series. I need more RAM in my PC... 3,5 GB weren't enough to proces this image in 16Bit mode :(
No PS here, no saturation!!!! ;) I used pol and GND8 filters for this picture!

This and the following image are examples of two types of RAW enhancement where the main function has been either to increase resolution with either SR (Super Resolution) which increases the image size as per the Next Photo.
Or this photo which offers Noise Reduction As Photo Above.
This image NR enhanced was converted from 16bit to 8 bit after CS editing (Deleting Dust Spots only) then saved as a jpg for Flickr. Final picture size NR = W 43.89cm Ht 29.26cm
My view is the NR is vastly superior to SR as you see in this image detail around the eye is much clearer and sharper. Not so in the following SR file.

Test:
Darktable NEF naar Tiff..2 traps. als basis.
32Bit Darktable Tiff( belichting etc , voorkomeng uitbleken en schaduw ophalen trap 1) -> in PhSh opnieuw opgebouwd en naar 16Bit Tiff, weer aanpassen (weer uitbleken etc voorkomen Stap 2), de DR lijkt duidelijk hoger te zijn.
Het was een matige file door gebruik van TC die DR weg vreet.

Beautiful in the Extreme, a wild expanse of moorland and mountains, near Braemar in the Scottish Highlands.
This is why the English monarchy own serious amounts of land in Aberdeenshire Scotland, isn't it totally gorgeous.

These ice crystals had formed on a window at work. I didn't have a decent macro lens at hand so I took a snapshot with my, at least, six year old Blackberry Q10. It only produces jpegs, so I imported the photo into DxO PhotoLab and immediately converted it into a 16bit tiff. From there, I processed it like any other raw file and was able to finish off with something that looks pretty reasonable I think. The snow landscape outside the window offers a little bit of interest as well. I think I'll take a real camera with me next time, and see what else I might achieve.

This is a HDR image merging of 7 exposures, starting at f/22, 15s and subsequent frames with +/-1EV increment. Processed in HDRSoft Photomatix Pro to convert 32bit hdr file to 16bit printable file (tone mapping) then edited in Photoshop for color & contrast.

ich habe noch ein paar ähnliche Bilder und eines das Johnny gemacht hat.
Er zeigte mir vor langer Zeit diese Kamera, er hat sie verkauft aber beim Transport dürfte sie einen Schaden genommen haben. Er bekam sie zurück und legte sie zu seinen vielen anderen Kameras.
Ich durfte sie testen und alles weitere werden wir sehen:
Fazit II: ich war ja schon von 6x6 begeistert aber 6x9 ist noch um einiges interessanter.
