Day 13.
A cold air was our backdrop in this Sunday morning. Very fruitful as number of photos, more exactly 163, but little in the quality of them. I leave you this because I like the look of my puppy and these crazy curls falling over his forehead.
The LA-13, whose name literally means "Red Pig" is a massive, armoured, superheavy gunship and a battlefield monster. Introduced into the Imperiaal Lugmag in 1970, she yielded excellent performance in the ever raging Bush Wars in the northern reaches of the Wêreldryk. Armed with two 20mm rotary cannons, and two miniguns stashed in the forward doors, they would be formidable even without their heavy payload. With eight hardpoints and a high carry capacity, the Rooivark can ship four air to air and/or anti-tank missiles (visible on either end of the wings), heavy rocket pods, cruise missiles and torpedoes and drop tanks.
Capable of carrying up to twenty men at a squeeze or a pile of heavy equipment, she is also useful in improvised battlefield logistics. Their size and power makes them invaluable to supporting men on the ground, and their survivability and firepower makes them horrifically effective in removing opposition from the battlefield.
"Just a few hours ago, there was a robbery attempt that was once again prevented by our very own caped crusader. However, there was also a fight with Superman and a strange robot dubbed 'Metallo', who was taken-" I turn off the TV.
"I'm sorry that it didn't work Mr. Luthor. But don't worry I'll deal with Henshaw, painfully." I let out a minor chuckle before replying.
"Mercy please, I appreciate your effort to amuse me, but I'll handle it myself." We then stop by the place, my driver gives me a nod to confirm it. I leave the car and head there myself. I'm greeted by the tired, yet nervous professor.
"M-mr. Luthor, if you just let me explai- " I interrupt as I strike him in the right cheek, resulting in a bloody mess.
"Mercy!" I yell out. She hands me a handkerchief. Which I wipe off the blood with. "You have to understand something Mr. Henshaw, I'm a simple man who expects results of success, not failures."
"P-please do-." I silence him as I pull out a pistol unload a round into his chest.
"Hank, you of all people should know the most important thing about being a savior is not accepting other people's failures, that's why Lexcorp was built, for successful ideas to help the next generation, not to fail." I then stand up. "Mercy!" She leaves and returns with gasoline, and lights up the lab. Hank struggles to breathe. "I'm so sorry it had to come down this way, I really am. But hey, you'll be one of the many examples of not crossing with Me." I leave the building.
---------------
Hank struggles to move, his breathing getting weaker. Until he hears someone approaching him.
-/Hello Hank/-
It says
“Who…. are-” is the last thing he lets before he gets his head slammed into the ground, knocking him out.

I swear I'm not taking/converting all these to black and white! lol "Winter". In this case, Winter friends.
Ah, the joys of film.
Lots of film on the way. Lots.
This was from a Kodak Ektralite 10 with 110 film cross-processed--as if it mattered.
Day 13, busy week, worked today and very tired so I have resorted to my fall back subject - the dogs, Mabel in this instance, will save Ted for emergencies!
Used a shallow DoF which I know not everyone likes but I just like how it makes her eyes stand out.

This is a great entry-level single malt. While I've only had a special cask strength bottling of a younger Craigellachie before, this release hits all the right notes and while the smoke wasn't very present during the dram its still very complex for its age. Definitely, a must try!

"[...] Meanwhile bear my grief-stricken soul to those wooded hills,
to those green meadows stretched far and wide along
the blue Niemen ; to those fields painted with various
grain gilded with wheat, silvered with rye ; where
grows the amber mustard, the buckwheat white as
snow, where the clover glows with a maiden's blush,
where all is girdled as with a ribbon by a strip of green
turf on which here and there rest quiet pear-trees.
Amid such fields years ago, by the border of a brook,
on a low hill, in a grove of birches, stood a gentleman's
mansion, of wood, but with a stone foundation ; the
white walls shone from afar, the whiter since they were
relieved against the dark green of the poplars that
sheltered it against the winds of autumn. The dwelling-
house was not large, but it was spotlessly neat, and it
had a mighty barn, and near it were three stacks of hay
that could not be contained beneath the roof; one
could see that the neighbourhood was rich and fertile.[...]"

Betina (Stranger 13, round 3).
Line 25 is the longest tram line in Rotterdam that starts in the north (Schiebroek district) and runs through the center and over the Maas (Erasmusbrug) through Rotterdam-Zuid and goes past the Breeplein towards Barendrecht (the Vinex district Carnisselanden). Along the way you will see a wide variety of buildings, from luxurious detached houses to dilapidated post-war high-rise buildings. In the tram you meet the mix of cultures that Rotterdam is rich. One afternoon I spoke to people from many countries: Ukraine, Poland, Turkey, a Surinamese Hindustani who speaks flat Rotterdam and a man from Curacao (who was looking for a rich woman). And of course the Rotterdammers themselves. I'm investigating whether this could be a subject for a photo project. Betina was waiting at the tram stop and what struck me was the combination of clothing, hair color and her large glasses. Betina is from Brazil and speaks some English. I asked her what brought her to Rotterdam. She said that she studies fashion design at the Willem de Koning academy (hence her appearance) and by the way I think love also plays a role in the background. Of course I was allowed to take a picture. Thank you Betina.

The calm before the storm. I was at the coast with my husband just a few hours from our home. enjoying the beautiful weather before the storm hit. I love the way the early morning sun lights up the foamy waves.
I have fallen behind not even two weeks into this 365 project. I am taking the photos, but slacking in the upload department. I knew it would be difficult and sometimes impossible so I decided not to stress over this fun project and just upload when I can. It's my project done my way. My goal is to improve my photo skills, take the time to think about the composition and sometimes just capture a great moment. Happy shooting.

I am grateful this week for my grandma N. We had her funeral yesterday. It was a wonderful service celebrating her 95 years of life. I am so grateful for having her in my life for this long and for my boys to know her this long also. Not too many young adults in their 20 have a great grandma that long.
Rest in peace grandma and thanks for all you taught us about love and life.
