{ Gratitude Day 13 : Nature }
There is such a wonderful array of beauty on this Earth, just waiting to be captured. It is so easy to get completely immersed in nature's glory. I find myself taking most of my shots of flowers... Just trying to tell it's story in the best way that I can.

Les Siena Awards ont annoncé les gagnants de leur concours Creative Photo Awards 2023 .
Frank Zhang a remporté le titre de « Photographe de l'année » pour son image ci-dessus, « Esthétique d'Afrique ».
Un portrait splendide avec une parfaite maîtrise de l’éclairage de studio et un joli modèle motivé avec un grain de peau ultra fin !

P.S : ce cliché a été retouché par mes soins avec un logiciel que j'ai découvert il y a peu de temps et qui s'appelle Pixelmator Pro !

Je fais donc des infidélités à LR & PS mais il est assez incroyable quand on le maîtrise comme pour tout d'ailleurs ...
Seulement, il n'est accessible que pour Mac et avec les derniers OS 😗

After a week of being sick I was very happy to get back out and take some photos. :) Yesterday I hopped on my bike and rode out to a construction site to see what I could shoot. After shooting two concepts, I turned around, ready to leave, and saw the beautifully red sun almost dip below the horizon. It was wonderfully serene and I just had to capture the moment.
Yesterday was wonderful and so was today. I went to pick up my repaired lens and YES it's finally repaired!! Ahh, despite loving my 50mm to bits and pieces, I must say I've missed that 18mm focal length. Oh and today I also went to the dentist for a checkup.. first time to the dentist in several years! The doc said my teeth are just fine. Which is very nice to hear. :)

A veces cuando estas en la calle esperando a que pase tu próximo desconocido te crees que eres tú el que elige, “tu si, tu no”. Sin embargo la mayor parte de las veces son ellos los que deciden ser retratados. Andrea es un buen ejemplo. Además es de esas personas que se prestan a jugar. Aceptan las propuestas y proponen. Un placer en definitiva.

Sometimes when you're on the street waiting to pass your next stranger you think you are the one who chooses. But most of the time it is they who decide to be portrayed. Andrea is a good example. Also is someone that lend themselves to play. Accept the proposals and proposed. A definite pleasure.

Shot this morning. Tried using tripod/cable release/mirror lockup but there was wind so I don't know if I really can tell much difference versus the monopod I usually use. 06-15-13 Oneal Lake 090
Donna (stranger 13)
“The fries are expensive here, but so tasty! I have to work an hour in the pizzeria for one portion. I want to eat something before I go to work”. I met Donna when she was standing in the long line to buy fries. While passing, I noticed her profile and I took a picture without being asked. Donna was excited about that photo and that's how we got into a conversation and I asked if I could take some more photos. "Buy your fries first and then we'll take pictures." Donna studies at the Graphic Lyceum. I understood that her training is about assisting the editors of various media. This afternoon she missed a lesson and after that she had to go to work. In the meantime I took a few pictures and got a fries to taste. Indeed, delicious. Thanks Donna.

This is my childhood whicker swing that now hangs on our lower deck. I was trying to get a bird shot and put my head down while waiting and saw this. It spoke to me.

With the 3014 GARC season opener came a new racer - the #13, better known as Vertigo. This ship was entered into select events to promote the resurrection of the "Gravity Games," an ancient Earthican festival that pit primitive humans on wheeled boards against each in death-defying stunts.
New-found interest in the ancient festival has influenced the people of Ok'm'phu to recreate this festival and share it with sentient beings of the universe.
This is a collaborative micro GARC between me and Jacob. I built most of the racer and then gave it to Jacob to finish. He reworked the shaping and added stickers and did a damn good job on it! Thanks man!
