I found this box in the thriftshop. In the box 42 little square boxes, in each little box a ball with a number of a cipher. No idea what this is. a game like bingo? It is rather hard to open the box and opening the small boxes is really hard. If it is a game, how what would the rules be?

This week reflection challenge. Frisbee thougt the mirror was a paw target.

I glide down in between the two forces, and stand to the Sons of Batman. The leader walks up to me, and kneels. He gets up, and holds his gun proudly.

“We are going to save Gotham City tonight, but not with those. Firearms are clumsy and cowardly. Meant for criminals. We aren't criminals, quite the opposite. The monsters behind us praise a madman, who hasn't been seen in years. A lunatic, who murdered innocent people for a laugh.”

I take the leader's gun, and snap it across my knee.

“You heard the man, break em!”

He yells.

“We won't use those, they're a coward’s weapon. We'll use our brawn, and our wit.”

They all reply.

“Yes sir!”

I turn to a member.

“What's your name, kid?”

“Michael. Michael Lane, .”

He says, intimidated by me.

“Well Michael, tonight’s going to be a long night. Ready up.”

He nods and yells for the rest to do as a say.

The Red Hood's seize rioting when they acknowledge me. They all begin to run, and so do we.

It's complete pandemonium. Gun shots and punches every second, I evade gunfire, and protect members of the sons as well. This old suit is surprisingly holding up well, protected me from a few otherwise fatal attacks.

My adrenaline is pumping so hard, that when a Red Hood stabs me in the shoulder, I punch him square in the nose, and down to the ground.

The battle rages on for hours, and most of both sides have fallen. I continue to bed on the Red Hoods, to find almost all of them are done. I see one Red Hood standing above a Son, and I go ballistic.

I leap at him, and tackle him to the ground. My fist doesn't stop until I break his mask and blood pours through his nose and mouth.

I stand up, realizing what I've just done. The abyss begins to stare back at me, and I embraced it. My hands are covered in blood.

I turn to the remaining members, and nod to them, telling them that this is all over.

I grapple onto a building, and glide back to the tower.

Down in the bunker, Alfred is fixing up my stab wounds and broken bones, and I begin to reflect on these past couple months. I decide that the only way to walk down memory lane, is to go there.

あっと言う間に12月・・・

This was my final day driving HST's.

I worked this as the 14-52 departure from Aberdeen to Kx as far as Newcastle.

Edinburgh based LNER driver Paul ( right of shot) accompanied me on the Aberdeen to Edinburgh part of the journey.

He kindly took the images of me on 43307 that I have shared here.

When I departed Edinburgh minutes after I took this, it dawned on me I only had an hour and a half left driving this superb train type. I savoured every minute of the experience.

To date the arrival back at Newcastle has drawn the curtain ( so far!) on me driving two different classes of Locomotive. The first being of class 47's , with 47760 on 22-9-2003 and with 43307 as above. Hopefully I will get back on a Brush Type Four again once things return to normal.

Shadows of a perfect weekend. Nothing to complicated this week, just a shot of the view we had over a very relaxing easter weekend ( complete with shadows and a pelican)
