Alguém se atreve a passar a noite neste pequeno casebre numa noite de lua cheia em plena sexta-feira 13????
...eu não!!!.... tirei a foto e sai dali ligeirinho!...
Boa semana pessoal!
Was breezy and snowing today. I took some photos of the snow but i decided to use this as my 365 for today. I liked the fragile nature of the dead flower heads cupping the snow.

Ieri sono stato a Milano, una città che non mi piace, non la capisco, la subisco. La mia difesa è stata la macchina fotografica!😊
Ho fatto 15 scatti, ne pubblicherò 13.

Jacopo is stranger n. 13 on my 100 strangers project. What can i say?? u could understand by yourself why i choosed him... he's perfect for portraiture! He's definitely full of style... i met him while i was walkin near the Gallipoli's harbor... i told that i would be more selective to choose my strangers... so... :-) he was next to a girl (stranger #14), (i think they were tourists because of their north accent, but i could be wrong...) and when i looked at them i had no hesitations to ask for a picture to include in my 100 strangers project! They thougths for a few seconds and then agreed... i brought jacopo under the light pole and i shot 2 photos! he choosed this one u can see... i really like the final results! i hope u too! :-)
sometimes i have some hesitation to ask for a picture! but sometimes i can decide in a second! this is one of them... :-) Thank u Jacopo!!!

I AM SO FLIPPING HAPPY TO SAY this is part of a collaboration with Shelby Robinson, my inspiration and wonderful friend. Check hers out here!
Our collab theme is basically pictures based off songs covered by Birdy, because we LOVE Birdy and we chose to do The xx's 'Shelter' first. The lyrics are below, interpret as you wish. The song really hits home for me and affects me quite deeply, so I hope you all enjoy this and know where your shelter is, too. (:
I find shelter in this way
Under cover, hide away
Can you hear when I say
I have never felt this way
Maybe I had said something that was wrong
Can I make it better with the lights turned on
Maybe I had said something that was wrong
Can I make it better with the lights turned on

Nothing could be compared to my feelings while shooting under strong rain... It is wet, shivery and cold. But it is like flying or being washed out of all your past and present... Looks like i am in poetic mood this Monday:-)
I've done quite a few of such photos before, but each time i cannot pass by. Probably will make a little project out if them...
Wish you good week!

Yep, that's the ball at the top of the frame... And that's what her eyes look like whenever there's the hint of a game of ball!

Getting towards the end of the day, Pete and I were looking for somewhere to have a last drink or two before his train back to Nottingham. I saw Leva here sitting down relaxing and it was obvious she was on a break from work. I thought she looked cool and there was a great street nearby to use for a background. I knew straight away that if I asked her, what her objection would be. And I had a plan. So I asked her for a picture and her predictable response was... "but I have a cold sore" to which I replied "but I have Photoshop" to which she replied with "oK let's go then". I get the whole anti Photoshop sentiment because it IS overused, but I also have met a lot of people who don't argue when I offer to use it to help them out a little. Don't get me wrong, I don't change the shape of people, though I could. I don't change their structure but I do clean up a few non permanent bits here and there, like spots or a cold sore.
So Leva set about striking a pose for me and she did a great job. Thanks Leva, hope you enjoyed this as much as I did!
This is the last of my street portraits from the session with Peter. I'm looking forward to getting out again as soon as I can, but next time I want to play with lights, big lights!!

I really wanted to build something for this guy, but I had a hard deciding what would work for him. In the end, I decided to build a part of his hideout atop a large tree, making this vig kind of format breaking compared to the others.
I couldn't build the entire tree, so it does kind of look like his hideout is just above the ground, but just try to imagine that it's pretty high up :P
