So here's a setup shot from the double espresso shot. Nothing fancy.
The cup is empty because I had already had the coffee before I thought about taking a setup shot :)

The camp host at Horse Meadows actually came over to check if I had a shovel and bucket.
I thought a tent and sleeping bag more more traditional requirements.

The Orange Oakleaf or Dead Leaf (Kallima inachus) is a nymphalid butterfly found in tropical Asia from India to Japan. With wings closed, it closely resembles a dry leaf with dark veins and is a spectacular example of camouflage. My previous post is from the bottom and this one is from the top. Lust love its wing reflecting under the sun.

Norway, Oslo, Middelalderparken. Birch trees in backlight, illuminating the yellow leaves beautifully as they're cascading down like water. The water behind it shining bright with reflections from the sunlight. So bright its burnt out, but I like it that way for this image. :-)

I'm not real happy with this image, but I thought it was nice enough to post. I like the colors in the flower, the way the stamen look like little suction cups, and the two unfurlled blooms on the left.

A macro photography of a toothbrush. My first try at using gels.
Strobist info: One 430EX with a CTB behind the brush / through a paper, and a second 430EX with a CTB underneath the head of the brush. A white paper was held above the brush to bounce some light back on top of it.

This kind of butterfly carries eye mimicry of snake markings to scare its natural enemies.

Not a great shot. Harry lives in a plastic terrarium and this was shot through that. But you can clearly see Harry enjoying a scorpion breakfast, as seen in the previous photo.
I wonder if it tastes like chicken?

Press F if you like it :)
I'm keeping on with my series of portraits of animals showing more emotions
and feelings than a typical wildlife picture of the animal in its habitat.
Lately, I have been using Black & White techniques to this end but on this
shot, there wasn't any need to switch to B&W because my cat was so deep in
his thoughts and begging me to photograph him haha
I'm really into capturing animals' feelings in a photography right now.
This is a macro shot, I used my Canon 450D along with my EF 100mm f/2.8
Macro.
The photo retouching is very minimal with a bit of contrast and sharpness
enhancing on Camera Raw but nothing big!
I hope you'll like it as much as I like this shot! To see it on a big
screen or on a wall is so much better than on a normal laptop screen.
Give me some feedback please :)
Thank you!!
