Poem:

Sonnet - Money

Let money be thy servant, not Master;

So, put thy wealth in use for mankind's sake;

Let progress come for fellowmen, faster;

What profits come if genuine, thou may take.

The money-needs of life on earth are small;

Money begets money and vices too;

But money cannot solve our problems all;

Let money not cause mis- conduct in you.

What use is money kept as coins and notes?

Banks lend their money so that they may grow;

Money cannot purchase all honest votes;

For money's sake, hardships, we undergo.

How many pairs of shoes, your feet will need?

Let excess money try to others feed.

( Dr John Celes )

learn from it... AND HELP OTHERS... cuz they need it.. more than you!

Northern California

This area faces north-east and gets more precipitation than the drier west & south sides..Its a lot more green and lush here. High in the mountains is the wettest and greenest yet though !

'Paper 1' On Black

Part of a bathroom series I am trying to put together.

The glass section of the Victoria & Albert Museum contains many interesting works of art, and several of them are contemporary works,

This one was made by Stanislav Libenský and Jaroslava Brychtová, two contemporary Czech glass artists.

I took only a detail of their work, so that if you are interested in the whole sculpture you will have to google the title :)

This is only the second time, if I remember properly, that I propose a picture both in colour an B&W, the reason being that - like in previous occurrence - i see the final results as quite different one from another. Maybe I am wrong, but I definitely feel they convey a different kind of perception.

52 Still Lifes 40/52: A story about games / Una historia alrededor de los juegos

Back when 250 exposures before reloading made the camera a pain to carry.

Oh no there is two of them, so which one is undesirable No.1. lol.

A shot taken on a recent trip to the Harry Potter experience at Leavesden in Hertfordshire. A well worthy trip if you can spare the time.

Shot on Leica X, and post processed in Lightroom.

Using the paintings of Georgia Gray for inspiration, I made this as a sample piece for my LQS's new Kona club. It's too big for a doll quilt anyway at 19"x28" so I'll just have to have it hang in my house. Awww....
