The blood orange is a variety of orange (Citrus × sinensis) [...] with crimson, almost blood-colored flesh.
The distinctive dark flesh color is due to the presence of anthocyanins, a family of polyphenol pigments common to many flowers and fruit, but uncommon in citrus fruits.[1] Chrysanthemin (cyanidin 3-O-glucoside) is the main compound found in red oranges.[2] The flesh develops its characteristic maroon color when the fruit develops with low temperatures during the night.[3] Sometimes, dark coloring is seen on the exterior of the rind, as well, depending on the variety of blood orange. Some blood orange juice may be somewhat tart; other kinds are sweet while retaining the characteristic blood orange taste. The oranges can also be used to create marmalade, and the zest can be used for baking.[16] A popular Sicilian winter salad is made with sliced blood oranges, sliced bulb fennel, and olive oil.[17] The oranges have also been used to create gelato, sorbet, and Italian soda. Ein Einzelstück im Bestand der Zillertalbahn ist der VT 1. Er kam 2013 von der Pinzgaubahn, wo er zuvor als Vts 11 eingesetzt wurde. Als einziger Triebwagen der Zillertalbahn verfügt er über zwei Führerstände. Zum Einsatz kommt er aber in der Regel in Kombination mit anderen Mittel- oder Triebwagen. Am Morgen des 15.07.2023 traf ich ihn bei Strass am Anfang des Zillertals an der Spitze des R 123 (Jenbach - Mayrhofen) an.

Fin février, j'ai effectué un court séjour à Bucarest en Roumanie à l'occasion d'un déplacement professionnel.
Habituellement, quand je voyage je vois partout la même mode vestimentaire internationale et les mêmes chaines de magasin. En Roumanie, c'est plus local et donc (à mon sens) plus sympa.

Sonntag maritim 1 – In Rostock-Warnemünde gibt es immer viel zu sehen und zu erleben, wie hier am Kai der Mittelmole. Sei es die noble Super-Yacht, der Traditionssegler, das Kreuzfahrtschiff oder der einlaufende Großtanker. Gelegenheiten zuhauf das Gesehene zu besprechen und auch viele Fotos zu machen. Ich jedenfalls kann Stunden lang an diesen Orten verbringen und es wird nie langweilig.
Allen Freunden einen guten und friedvollen Sonntag gewünscht.
