Right when I got out of bed, I took my tripod and took this picture. I'm like jealous over like half the pictures on Flickr. I want to become a "photographer" soon. I'm still learning.
Yellowstone Day 1. I had a few hours to kill while waiting for the rest of my group to arrive so I visited the Grizzly Encounter near Bozeman. This is home to Brutus, a grizzly bear, who has starred in a few documentaries for Discovery Channel and National Geographic. His trainer, Casey Anderson, was not there that day.
1) I took a photo of a sign and the tree behind it that I saw from the car and stopped to capture it. I think that this is a good representation of fall because the tree in the background has such a spectrum of colours that are associated with autumn.
2) If I could retake this photo I would've waiting a bit longer so as the sun would've moved a bit so it wouldn't have washed out some of the colour.

I wanted OJ trees with actual oranges on them. I will drive out to La Belle one day for those.
Senior Pic #1 - I'm on a playground slide. i'm still a kid at heart. well i'm still a kid age wise too, i guess.
SF Color Project, Week 1. I loved the framing and detail but wanted to call attention to the flag without being obtrusive. Thus, an absence of color was used to draw the viewer to see what I see.
The cover I made for a mixed tape. This is me and my best friend from high school at a party freshman year in college in Austin.

Note #3: Yes, those are suspenders hanging down to my side. I was wearing some black jeans with built-in suspenders. 80's fabulous!
1 - I've played the piano most of my childhood, and during this time at home, I try to spend more time on it. Piano has always been a way for me to express myself and is important to me.
2 - The lighting is very mellow and subtle, which fits the theme of the piano.
3 - I like how simplistic yet intricate this photo is. Simple because there's no particular focal point, but intricate because of all the different keys, and parts of the piano in one photo.
weekly prompt #1: i decided to take inspiration from the movie moonlight. in it, we follow the main character throughout multiple stages of his life, and a theme in it is that his experiences and age have hardened him. i wanted to play with the idea of losing innocence over time, so i meshed together a baby photo of myself with a current portrait, then drained color from the older version of myself to portray this idea.
intro to fibers project 1:
i recreated my paper journal pages with fabric and embroidery with my goal being to get them as close to the originals as possible.
1) I really like the composition with the detail in the wood and shadows.
2) I took this shot to show some unique, rustic architecture my dad has in his office at home.

This was shot with a shutter of 1/60 because of the lighting in my dads office
4) I first turned the window picture black and white. I then created a new layer and put the picture of the sunset I took. I then created a layer mask and used the paintbrush to get rid of the stuff I didn't want. I then turned down the opacity of the sunset image.
1. I need to expand my wardrobe.
2. My dogs follow me everywhere and walk into a lot of my shots, prompting a re-take.
3. I need to push harder.

1. I chose this object to add some technology and liked the contrast of the white against the dark curtain and cow lamp.
2. The light flows down from the lamp onto the google home making it bright.
3. My favourite part is the pattern from the Cow lamp against the technology of google home.
1.) I chose this subject and setting because it contains many different elements but it is simple. Funny I picked this photo and the ball went in on this one too.
2.) The photo is in wide angle to include the shooter and the basket on opposite edges of the frame. The basketball in the air in the middle helps create a connecting curved line from the shooter, to the ball, to the basket. This gives the viewer a sense of motion and flow in the photo and is easy to connect. The sunlight coming through out of the frame, highlights the two main trees apparent in the photo. I also liked how the sunlight is very narrow and only shines through on the trees, thin line in the grass, and up to the trees in the left side in the bakground. This helps for depth in the picture and differentiates those trees, from the shadowed darker trees.
3.) I chose a small aperture of 3.2 to create a shallow depth of field, and had ISO at 100 because of the quality of the picture.
1. I took a picture of this frozen branch. This is a creative example of Winter because of the ice coating the branch of the tree.

I finished the digital frames, now comes the fun part: FILM.
I shot several rolls of both B/W and CN film. These are from Orwo NC500 color film. Under the cold, dull light it gives very „subtle“ negatives, I boosted them more than usual because of that. Basically I didn't really have a idea how to process, so just played and tried some things. More to come!
